A Faust to be reckoned with. A bit of sheen would do wonders to this naturally beautiful instrument. Now the voice sounds somewhat frayed. Surprisingly, the high C has it as does the last phrase.

I saw this in 2015, the passed Hvorostovsky singing Onegin.... It was quite a sad production, the whole first half seeing the old Onegin and Tatina walking among younger them filled with regret, like ghosts.
I can hear this 100 times and never get tired of it. It is pure magic
