I’m grateful for the tutorial, but this pattern is essentially created out of two molecules. The one in the centre can be made out of an anticlockwise hexagon twist at the back and some standard triangle twists at the front. You then need to manipulate the triangle twists and change the rotation points to generate the finished molecule. If you try this on a 16x16x16 hexagon grid, you’ll end up with a rather nice star pattern. The complicated molecules that are connected to the centre molecule look like ISO-area hexagon twists but aren’t, and I’d recommend that you fold a test version on an 8x8x8 hexagon to serve as a reference before attempting the full tessellation. This is still a very challenging tessellation, and anyone who can fold even the 32x32x32 version should feel very pleased with themselves, but it’s easier once you know how to fold the molecules making it up.

Hey, I'm the guy that uploaded the imgur link on the description xD I folded the base for this once but didn't have Alios Kraft back then to finish it, and I was trying again recently (and, with this, I've been trying for 6 years) and saw your video. Today I failed to fold it (I forgot how I used to fold it xD), but I'll start from scratch and try again. By the way did you also see the "diagram" for this origami? There's an alternative tutorial I found and I've reuploaded it to origami forums (the original site got taken down, my reup can be found by googling "origami forums dragon knight"), I'd find VERY useful to also have a tutorial explaining the "steps" version of this origami rather than the CP since I find it less boring (but potentially more difficult). It also has good tips about how each part of this origami is shaped and what they mean, which could be useful for you and others. The diagram is confusing but pretty detailed at the same time. If you're still around and interested in this model, please consider making a tutorial based on the pdf with the step by step instructions too, or just maybe check it out of curiosity if you feel like.
