I would take issue with the comment that real Mexican cuisine vs Tex Mex is not as healthy. I found that when we lived in Houston and went to a true Mexican restaurant that the food was healthier, without all the cheese and sour cream (which I love). We now live in eastern Oregon and with the amount of Mexicans population, it is super easy to find authentic Mexican food. I'm sure it's the same in Idaho.

I accidentally found tacos Lorena’s today after seeing this video last night. It was pure, Chance. I had two Carne Asada tacos. They were awesome. I cannot wait to go back to get a burrito or a torta.

Then you’re not trying hard enough. Plenty of other good places I can name right off the bat like Taqeuria Las Brazas in GC, El Patio and Victorias in Kuna, or Fiesta Chicken in Boise.

We have a place like this here in Texas but with not nearly as many flavor options. Looks really good. Btw here in Texas we say "Puh-cawn" which is definitely the proper way to say it.
The owners are great people. Great food too. Next you’ve got to try the famous ‘Lamai Thai’ food truck in nampa. She closes for winter but when she reopens 🎉

I grew up in southern California and have to say, lengua is some of the best meat you'll put in your mouth. Never be afraid to eat something, especially when so many others enjoy it. There is a reason they like it 🎉

This place has been hit or miss for me. And it’s super expensive. I’m still seeking out a decent Thai place in idaho. You really have to work hard to find decent ethnic food out here.
Our experience obviously was pretty great. What other Thai places have you tried? We know a couple other good ones.
You don't have to work that hard. We have an excellent Russian restaurant and Eritrean/Ethiopian restaurant, several good Thai restaurants and Italian restaurants, Puerto Rican, just a few off the top of my head.
Can't wait to try the Russian spot!
@@goidahoeats Pad Thai House has been my favorite since my childhood when I tried the spicy chicken lettuce wraps! As a spice lover myself, they can make food spicy where it makes your lips tingle.
