My mum had to go through her pregnancy alone. Dad had Tetanus and was in a coma. So sad but when he woke up - he had a baby daughter. Me. He even said I was a gift from God 🎁❤️😍

My daughter was born in Jan 2018. She was rushed to intensive care and had a heart op. 5 months later another one and she ended up on life support. We were told it was 50/50 chance of survival as it was the 5th day. This was at Bristol Children’s hospital. At one point there were 18 medical staff around her bed. She made it. This song breaks my heart.
As others have said this song brings home many emotions as my son was born two months prem. The first night after an exhausting day I came home alone with my wife in one ward and son in NICU, this song came on and despite knowing it before the words hadn't resonated until then and this pretty much sums up the early days. Pleased to say he's five and doing very well 💪🏻
This song appeared when I met a woman at an exhibition, we were in contact for a short time until she had to work to support her family and disappeared until now.
This is essentially what I went through as a baby and obviously I remember nothing but just thinking of what my parents must've been going through back then is enough to make me cry pretty much every time I hear it

My daughter had meningitis. She had no chance overnight. 20 yrs on shes ok. With 2 kiddies of her own. This songs always with me. X
