This type of toilet is becoming more popular these days, I'm having a new bathroom fitted soon and most seats tend to come loose or even tarnish and need replacing over time and looking around at new ones I thought 'How the hell do you get to the gubbins that hold it in place?' What about removing the nylon plug if it doesn't fall into the toilet? I've tried screwing the screw in and pulling and wiggling but it won't move. Any tips?

What stops the sink from sliding out after the installation? Only the small silicone join between the top of the sink and the wooden work surface?... Is there no need to somehow clamp/attach the sink to the cabinet elsewhere?

I have a similar toilet and have been tightening it this way. Now it's loosenes within a day or two. Is there a way to fix/tighten the screws or replace something so it doesn't loosen so quickly?

Easy whit that kind of cheap light cauldron

I hate our white sink. There are always black aluminum pan marks all over the place, sauce stains, and if you leave any iron or steel in there overnight while wet the rust stains are a pain to remove. Every single little stain and speck of food is visible like a stop sign against a cloudy sky. I wish we had a black or stainless sink.

That set you demonstrated first up is the same thing I got with my seat and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't fit it through the hole. I even tried taping up but it wouldn't fit. By the end of the day I wanted to kill someone, ANYONE! Thanks for being the one and only person showing this.

Thank you for this lesson Jordan, it enabled and equipped me to help myself. Your guidance in demonstration was just what was needed. Your style and delivery encouraged me to complete a task that I had started but could not finish. I had removed the old toilet seat but got stuck at removing the screw fittings, so my replacement toilet seat sat in its wrapping for a little while, until today. The key point (for me) was when you said not to worry about the bits at the bottom of the old screw that may probably drop down inside the integrated unit; that freed me and now the job is done at last! Thank you so much. Keep teaching, you have a gift.😊

An excellent video, clearly explained and demonstrated. Like many of us, I had no idea that the seat could be removed so easily for cleaning round the fittings. I now feel confident that I can install a new wooden seat properly. The issue with the twisted rubber seal is also useful for us to know. Thanks mate!

Absolutely brilliant design!! I fitted this seat on in 10minutes. Had to throw away the first choice I got from the B& Q store which was usel3ss but the refuse to accept back !! I will stick to buying on line fir all. Y DIY wants from now on!!! I cannot praise this product highly enough!!!

I bought a similar style toilet thinking it would be easier to clean since the outside is smooth. It is, but it has a shelf like form in the bowl and need I say what can land there? Never again. This one looks to have a good bowl. Please see the inside before purchasing.
