Here is a simple demonstration showing how you can sequence your external MIDI modules using the sequencer of the 909 version 5. Notes (steps) are recorded when entered, when in Ext. Inst mode (Step or Tap write), however velocity and duration data is still set on the External Instrument map config pages and is not recorded.

It’s complicated! Ableton triggers OSC messages sent to TouchDesigner. TD triggers programs and drives LEDs using ArtNet to my Advatek LED controllers.
