So delighted to hear you're going to make new pure driving videos! I've watched your original content many, many times. In fact I noticed that many years ago I commented on one fo your videos saying I was planning to get another Caterham, having sold mine in the UK when I moved to Canada. Well I just fulfilled that dream and have got another one a few weeks ago, 18 years after I sold my last one. Shipped it from the UK to Halifax, Canada, flew there and drove the whole 6,000km across Canada back to Vancouver in it. 6.5 days and no issues. No video, though. But will do some soon. It's a 1999, 210bhp Rover K series VHPD, 6 speed box, LSD, white with a blue stripe, with 30,000km. It's awesome! But I'll still be watching your videos to see the amazing roads you have in Switzerland. British Columbia has some great roads but most of them are a long way away from Vancouver, and not as tight and twisty as your roads. Thanks for doing what you do!

First of all, I would like to thank you for those driving videos. When I am in the mood I have often enjoyed going for a drive, watching the videos again and again. I did wonder why the sudden stop in the publican of the videos. It is good to know that you and the Caterham 7 is here. With the driving part of your future videos I would very much enjoy seeing and hearing the pure motoring, the pure roads and countryside, with just the sound of the engine and surrounds. It would be the next best thing to being there. I look forward to see how the videos develop on your channel in the future. Thank you again.

WTF Are You doing at 7 mins 47 seconds, totally dangerous! More WTF I got to 18 minutes into the video, love the car, but sorry the driver is heading to a body bag along with some innocent people as he cuts corners on blind bends, I presume a solid white line means do not overtake and crossing lanes when forward visibility around corners could mean a head-on collision. I hope you do not KILL someone or a whole family by showing off BUT ONLY YOURSELF! Hopefully you are still alive!

I was worried you’d been killed actually…. I love you caterham vids but they suddenly stopped… and crazy fast drivers always run the risk…. Now I’m sitting at Krone in Sarnen and see a green Caterham wondering if it’s yours. Great to see this vid and find you are alive but sorry about your dog. Mine had a stroke just after New Year’s Day this year and we had to put her down…it’s like happy fucking new year! …. In addition, add some more ink…. I added a Celtic dog design on my sleeve in honor of my dog. My eldest son had a tatt done on his ribs of her “cockroaching” … i think it’s a nice thing to do

The Porsche drivers drove very clean and respectful to other road users while you cut the corners even when it was not needed - ALL the time. Stay on your side. Cutting corners is not safe - neither for you, nor others.

Got as far as 7:39 and the blind overtake was enough for me. I truly love these cars but I cannot see any way to justify that. There could have been anything coming head on.

I just wanted to share that this video made me move to Switzerland a few years ago! I never knew the sort of mountain road Switzerland had, until your videos. After two roadtrips through the country, I finally made the decision to move and I've been here for two years now. Absolutely love it, and this very video was what it all started for me. Thank you!

I was a racing driver for four decades, and I am appalled by the enthusiasm that this video has generated. Racing on public roads is irresponsible by any measure, and that pass that you made at 7:38 was beyond the pale, Asinine! Take that exquisitely fine automobile to an open track day at a racetrack where everyone out there is playing the same game, and has agreed to its risks. You do not need a competition license. You might be required to take a few instructional laps, and you'll need a helmet, and that's it.. You'll have a great time I'm sure, and you will endanger no innocent folks. My best t you, Jack

My friend, I’m so sorry to hear this news. I remember watching your driving videos years ago and they sparked my interest in Caterham 7’s. You drive that car properly. Something clicked in my mind and I had to find these videos again, here I am again. Wishing you all the very best. RIP Sammy.

I just watched one of your old driving videos, and was wondering if you were ever going to make more, then I saw this video pop up. I adopted my wife's dog, Gabby, when I married her, and even though I'm a cat person, that dog surprises me every day with how she can bring joy just by giving a funny look or meeting me at the door. We both are dreading the day when we have to say goodbye, and to you I give you my sympathies. The ability to put a video out with such honesty is rare, especially on youtube, and you just showed us, the fans of your driving, part of your soul. I look forward to learning about you and the future videos you have planned. If we weren't thousands of miles apart and culturally separated, I would like to shake your hand, sir.

I do this (to its abilities) with my Maserati 4.24v every second year... Because it takes me a year to repair the engine between runs 😂🤣 Once following a local with his Elise, over Jaufenpass and Timmelsjoch, this was the craziest driving ever, got a thumbs up from the Elise drivers for not letting them escape... In a 4 door saloon 😈 I'm planning on getting a 7 instead. The Maserati is far too heavy and even though I finally got it thermally stable with custom radiator, fans, relocated intercoolers with extra fans in the wheel arches, there is still something that brakes, this time probably burned a valve...came home as a 5 cylinder 🤦‍♂️ I really love the V8 7s, like the Dax Rush, but I'm afraid it might be too front-heavy and no traction...much like the Maserati... Used up more front tires than rear. I need to test drive a couple of different ones, probably.

As a dog owner for many years, I feel your pain. I too have had regrets but I realised I had done the very best I could for all the dogs in my life. You must get another one though - it’s never a replacement but rather a successor. It’s a credit to the relationship we have had with our dogs that we can’t live without one in our lives. My collie is my best friend - just like the other collies I’ve had which are now passed away. All dog owners will know exactly what you are feeling at this moment. Good luck to you.
