Damn I love videogames
Akazukin-chan / あかずきんちゃん (PC-88, 1990)
A cute and wacky game about Little Red Riding Hood, who during her usual quest fights off the Wolf and her friend (?) Snow White with the help of magical seals and her trusty .44 Auto Mag pistol.
And saves (or dooms) the world in many different ways.
00:00 Intro and backstory
03:20 Beginning the adventure
06:00 Get to the shop
07:35 These mice are talking about quantum physics
10:10 Fighting the Wolf
11:30 Saved Gnome and Girochon
13:30 We are turned 18!
17:00 Last battle
19:37 End
The game has many endings, the one in video is not the "true ending". Actually, I haven't figured out how to get it. :p

I wanted to record all possible endings, but I'm too lazy to trudge through the last dungeon six more times for the sake of a five second page flipping videos. :)

What system was this?
If you mean an operating system, it's DOS (DOSBox). If you mean a star system, it must be the Harlequin system in the vicinity of the planet Vardaine.
That's some of the best looking computer dogs.
Thank you Minnesota! 🎉
Woah... like a fan-made Oregon Trail sequel.... imagine choosing which ox goes where in Oregon trail, lol.
And each ox having a portrait and a bio like in a squad tactics game or RPG :D
Thanks
Wow i Never Made it to the end 😮 nice 👍
This game was my introduction to flight simulators back then, it came on a shareware cd called Zodiac 50 game pak along with other flight sims. I spent a lot of time playing it as a kid
So saving the renegade Spock is far more important to Mccoy than getting back to his own universe Wow !!!
I adore the score here. The swelling danger of the trumpets when he gets the hypo, to the quiet but intense threat of the bass and the violin when he opens his eyes.
Dude, it took me so long to figure this damn thing out back in the day. Especially when you had to pay actual money for even a hint, let alone a whole ass walkthrough. I pretty much attribute most of my critical thinking skills to playing both King's Quest and Gabriel Knight as a kid; we can throw Myst in there as well. Nothing beats that satisfying "Ding" along with the added points. It's like heroin 😂 Plus that track that kicks in when Mosely shoots Dr. John? Fogetaboutit.
The U.S.S. Republic having 2 phasers, 2 photon torpedoes, and a plasma torpedo! Overkill, lol.
tit
Pussy
The only way out is the TH-cam system.
Damn, I never thought I would find anything on the internet about this game! Downloaded it from the creator on the AOL file sharing system and played the hell put of it back in the day!
P.S. I still have the ORIGINAL GAME BOXES WITH DISKS!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these games.. Crusader: No Regret AND Crusader: No Remorse two ALL TIME FAVs that I still play to this day on old Windows 95 /DOS 6.2 machines I keep around for nostalgia purposes. It's good to be OLD school sometimes...lolol Most of today's KIDS have never heard of DOS.. lolol
I bought this game when I was a kid, but we were never able to get it installed on the computer. This was of course when dial up was still brand new. Now, almost 30 years later. I finally get to see how it ends. 😂
In 1996 dial-up connections were not brand new anymore. But due to the internet, which became publicly available in 1994, it only started to become a thing for the masses in the 1990s. Modems, however, had been around for more than 20 years then already.
i like this one compared to the 2nd game. Good times.
I still have the book edition of this one. Time to replay it!

f***k me - McCoy doesn't blink!!
Frustrating- would like to have an additional minute or so after where it cut.
So in this alternate universe where there are bizarro versions of all the major characters, the only fundamental differences in the Spocks is their stylistic choices towards facial hair?
They don't like saying evil.
Huh an obscure 90’s sci fi game this is right up my alley.
Mccoy has milk in his eyes?
This was a great game... but I remember being incredibly disappointed in this ending back in the day. (hell, I was disappointed watching it now) It's so anticlimactic.
The Mirrorverse uniforms are just superior
It's weird the juxtaposition of the excellent voice quality and terrible midi music LOL. The Garidian voice actor is terrible, legit actors of the crew vs shitty 90s video game actors.
Such an awesome game :)
Wish GoG would do something with it.
@@ascelot I totally agree. GoG has released a lot of Trek game titles so I'm hoping they release it at some point
@@enikata7349 Unfort for me, never got to complete the game :(
@@ascelot Well let's hope it comes out at some point so you can have a crack at it :)
nice captain pentara i have that name as part of my email address lol
This is the first time anyone ever completed this game
lmao I thought the same thing
This scene not only awoke a fire in many a viewer’s heart, but it 100% awoke something in mccoy’s pants too
They had to give sparked that shot because right before the scene they caught him in the bathroom with a crystal pipe and Spock was on a good one he'd been up for 3 days😂
Battle chess ii Chinese tutorial
Such passionate developers back in the day!
At the time I played this it was one of the first PC games I ever completed. This last bit was the only part that had me disappointed. I've been fighting turrets and giant robots, and the end boss is a woman with a blaster who could have just annhilated me by taking the last ride out of town. Otherwise a great game for the time.
Man the music, the atmosphere of the level. You knew this was some serious shit when you played this level. Good times. Man I wanna go back to the 90s.
I heard Spock tried the Vulcan mind meld with Joe Biden and Spock walked away with dementia.
Such a bad idea to use the janky Ultima 8 engine for an action game.
As far as I remember actual gameplay is pretty smooth. Of course were there places main character animation cut off suddenly, but with 2d sprite engine correcting that is to expensive, that game for it's time was pretty large as is.
They improved the movement physics a lot in No Regret though.
as long as no jumping puzzles like in Ultima 8 with the rocks in the lakes
Wait, so she could have just left the station and he would die. She would be alive, victorious and very very rich. But instead of doing that, she chose to wait, giving him a chance to survive, for the sake of monologuing him??? 😂 Stupid is as stupid does, she deserved to be deleted.
She acted surprised, but I'm pretty sure she was deliberately waiting for the Silencer to comply with all the villain rules
Imagine Mirror Spock in The Undiscovered Country.
*0:08* i have mornings like that too sometimes
Just kiss and get it over with
Ruthless Spock is terrifying. You can feel that whether or not it would be advantageous to snuff out your life is just a calculation to him.
Thank you.
McCoy is the picture of Pawn shop downthe street 😮😮😮.
Terrifying Imagery 😂
The good old days. Before Berman and Co. insisted Vulcans were arrogant fools whose mind-melds went wrong more often than they liked to admit ("Voyager"), or simply didn't work on strong willed Cardassians ("DS9"), or were the product of a mistake ("Enterprise").
As we can see the Vulcan build uses empathy as its garbage state and uses the points saved on empathy to pile on strength
