Kerosene is about finally having the courage to stand up for yourself after you have been beaten down for so long. Finding strength to stand up for yourself after enduring abuse can be a very tough challenge mentally, but once you find that for yourself you can only climb.

Love Letters was inspired by the departure of someone important in your life, whether that be a family member, a loved one, or even a best friend. That person made you feel hopeless when they walked out and despite knowing it may be for the best, we can't help but feel overwhelmed by all the good times you had with them and hope one day things can be made alright again.
