GVVT Vehicles Leaving Glasgow Green (03/08/24)

On 3rd August 2024, the GVVT museum gathered twenty buses from their collection to partake in a parade through Glasgow to celebrate one hundred years of the motor bus in Glasgow. Rust to Rome Leyland Leopard YSF87S at LN52 (04/05/24)

During the Leyland National 52 event in Whitehaven I had the privilege of riding YSF87S, a 1977 Leyland Leopard/Alexander Y-Type that travelled all the way from Edinburgh to Rome and back on the 2023 “Rust to Rome” rally. Serving The Community - Ayrshire Community Documentary

For university, we were tasked to make a documentary where we interviewed someone with the overall theme of "more than a job". International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight (08/09 & 09/09/23)

For the first time in five years, an air show was held down at the Low Green at Ayr seafront and featured a great lineup of planes, including Spitfires, an RAF Chinook, the thunderous Typhoon and the fan-favourite Red Arrows. Sailed down the Clyde from Glasgow to Rothesay in the 50,s, Lovely steamer. Pleased she has been preserved for future generations

It's sad that only one post WW2 Glasgow AEC Regent V (A350) survives, and that we are lucky to still have BUS 181(AR292) ,a pre war AEC Regent even if it is a towage coversion. It still has a half cab body.

I hated driving those MAN single deckers
Going out of Ayr astern(3.00) is a bit of a heart in mouth with it's narrow entrance and Waverleys lack of steering at low speeds. Well done to the Captain!

Always good to see Waverley in Ayr especially with it's awkward berthing due to harbour layout. Lots of passengers on its Aisa Craig sailing.
There was a Captain in the early 00s I remember that went bow in and just reversed out the harbour.

Greetings from the U.S. a very beautiful ship and hope to visit the Waverley. I believe Loch of the Diamond is the other ship similar to the Waverley.
I think you will be thinking of Maid of the Loch which is being restored on Loch Lomond She is painted like Waverley and you can go on board her on open days Hopefully you will get to visit both ships one day
So wonderful to see Waverley coming through that harbour entrance with flags flying in the sunshine. A damp departure later with her going impressively astern out of the harbour.
