CAKE - The Federal Funding March
A track I can't help but laugh at... It's just Federal Funding but done by a marching band with what seems like John McCrea's voice ripped right out of the album version of the track slapped ontop of it. If nothing else, it's funny.
An interesting note is this track actually shows up twice on the vinyl release pictured. Not only the B-Side of Mustache Man, but in a freak and ironic mispress (and I mean freak) The B-Side to "What's Now is Now" is also The Federal Funding March instead of Huge Misunderstanding. As far as I can tell all pressings of the '45 single box set had this issue, and is a big sign of CAKE's bad history regarding vinyl... on that note, pre-orders just opened for their new pressing of Fashion Nugget! If you are a big nerd like me I recommend you go pre-order it now.

I was minding my own business in 1994, already a fan of techno, house and hip-hop, I picked up this CD max-single and it had a remix by a group (!) named "Omni Trio"... when that bassline hit in my car I got the biggest chill up my spine. I found "the" sound.
