Weedy seadragon and Hammerhead shark - Perth, Western Australia.
มุมมอง 11211 หลายเดือนก่อน
We spent nearly three hours scouring the seaweed in search of sea dragons yesterday, in 10m of water. We were lucky to find one weedy seadragon with eggs stuck all along it's tail! We then put the drones up at Point Peron in search of the hammerhead sharks that reside there in the summer. Dave found a school of eight, and I found two dolphins. We were lucky enough to snorkel with one hammerhead...
Point Peron drone footage and snorkelling.
มุมมอง 175ปีที่แล้ว
Dave and I took our drones and snorkel gear to Point Peron today to search for the baby hammerheads that spend the summer in the area. We couldn't spot them with a SSE breeze and a low swell stirring up the vis. Dave found 3 dolphins and an eagle ray, though, and we loved the caves at Bird Island, a 700m swim from the Cape Peron carpark.

Exmouth Navy Pier is one of the top ten shore dives in the world! Loads of marine life, tropically warm waters, maximum depth 13.5m. Dive company - Dive Ningaloo, located in Exmouth. You can dive the Navy pier day and night. I'd recommend doing both! It's incredible. A highlight being the BFG aka the Big Friendly Grouper. Over two metres in length and no regard for personal space l, he may come...
Wintersun Caravan Park Review. Carnarvon, Western Australia
มุมมอง 82ปีที่แล้ว
Wintersun Caravan Park is on Carnarvon's outskirts. It offers plenty of well sized, grassed, shady, powered sites. They have a beautiful swimming pool, playground and jumpy pillow for the kids. Amenities and camp kitchen were clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back.

Scuba Diving. Lucky Bay, Esperance WA
มุมมอง 281ปีที่แล้ว
Lucky Bay is renowned for its pristine, white beaches, kangaroos and granite outcrops. Less known is the impressive variety of marine life. Diving here is awesome! A huge variety of fish, coral, crabs and octopus and what we came here for the leafy sea dragons and weedy sea dragons. Our first dive offered us the opportunity to see one leafy and a few weedies. The night dive was totally differen...

Install of baby gate in Jayco Swan Outback.
มุมมอง 3932 ปีที่แล้ว
Info video of how we installed a child safety gate on our Jayco Swan Outback. We used the Perma Child Safety retractable gate. The retractable gate is mounted on a piece of composite but you could use any wood and attached to the lounge, with heavy duty velcro. We decided to do this because the height of the gate is slightly higher than the couch, meaning the gate would impede the roof once wou...
Fremantle Boating

Launched the boat at Woodman Point this morning for a quick trip up to Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour. The weather was beautiful for a winter's day but it was a bit chilly for a swim! I didn't last long. It was great to get the boat in.

Stacey and I love packing the camping gear up and heading out into the forest! You dont need to pack everything and it doesn't need to be over complicated. Just grab the essentials and get out and appreciate nature.
Amazon Jungle Adventures

Sarah - Back in August 2018 my Mum and I travelled to South America. We completed the grueling Inca Trail. I'm so proud of Mum. We then made our way back down the mountains to the Amazon. We stayed in some accommodation right on the river and spent our days in the bush looking for the tallest trees I've ever seen, caymen which are like crocodiles, tarantulas and capybaras which are essentially ...
I love Moore river, I go every year since I was ever a baby. 😊

Thank you for that! I think I’ll book in with the kids for a weekend ☺️
No worries! Obviously gets a lot busier on the weekend but its great. Even better if you have a kayak, SUP, dinghy, fishing gear. It's a lovely spot.
