good
I've found empty, snapped conibear traps often. Usually smaller non target stuff snaps them & are not captured. Sometimes the larger 220 & up conibears do catch these non targets. Here is a list of stuff that I found : Little things & Big Dents Carp Bullheads Catfish Suckers Small mink Small weasle so say least Brown barn (norway) rats Pike 🎉
The way that man tosses that thing and whips it through the air, this mans been trapping since before I was born, thats for sure
Oh, 4 year old video so I bought old snares that are discontinued.
Thanks for sharing mark unfortunately our 40 day mink and muskrat season here was not the greatest flooded creeks early then everything iced over and flooded again...maybe next year
I just saw this week, i got muskrats in my farm pond. So time to get at it. Thanks for the tips.
I abhor trapping. It's cruel and unnecessary.
Nice Red Fox. Congratulations
If Red Fox was caught in a trap, you would get the worst cussin of your life.
Why ? Its completely legal
Wow!!
Always enjoy your videos
Thanks for watching!
Fun video. Nice Muskrats
Thanks for watching!
That looks better than the Hagz clip does he ever get any by-catch or lose traps?
simple is often effective.
I'll do some testing! I made some floats like you use, and just caught my first rat, after about 2-3 years.
poophead
Trappin is hard work.
Great information
👍
How's there only 2 watching..
Nice! Trail sets really don't get used a lot. Not sure why.
It's a great method that works really well.
Impressive stuff
Bought some milligans brand bait/lure. My trapline this year has been noticably more productive.
What an interesting story.
Thank you.
oh ya
My God! Imagine being the poor bastard stuck in prison being totally innocent.
The suspect was already in jail and was a bad dude. I felt bad for his family. They had been though a lot. Then out of nowhere their farm was being searched and dug up. Media was everywhere.
@wiebetraplineadventurestvw7269 man o man
Wow, very interesting story mark!
Thanks for listening
just picked up a wieble pro fleshing knife.
Thank you.
I love the way the kangaroo jump works. I've caught a lot of rats in them.
Well I'll be! Defiantly using this one!
Love it!
Thanks!!
Very interesting, especially the duck trapping story. thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
I wish you posted more often!
murder
Hey Brian, good to see you back on camera. I really enjoyed your Maine Trapline DVD that you produced with your brother! Keep at it!
Appreciate the support, thanks!
👍
Never seen the guy before! I'm surprised so many of these guys that I heard about decades ago are still among us.
Ray made huge catches back in the day. He was a "gypsy" sort of trapper, going from state to state. Eventually he started an elk guiding business and still operates this today.
I hunted with him 28 years ago. Sorry to hear about his wife passing. Gorgeous woman
I worked for Ray in 2003 as a hunting guide, great Outfitter as well as a trapper,
@@JoseyWales-m5b thats about 3 years after me.
Good times
I have lived the spaghetti analogy many times
Love the info and the comedic quality of the content. Don't take things in life to serious and enjoy the time we have in this life
Ive used that same set on conibear shy beaver. It never miss's. Deadly set
simple too.
I’ve caught some big skunks but that guy is a whopper 👍
How about a Montgomery video? mti
Awesome!
Thank you!
When I started trapping, my state still paid bounty on coyotes. There were no coyotes. The bounty worked. 2 years after the bounty was withdrawn, I caught one. And a few years later they started populating fast.
I love how the audio sounds like a 90s TV reporter on location 😂
I liked it the first time and now the second too! ...............the mike
I noticed on your show I watched today that you made a number of comments as to how coyotes kill over 300,000 head of livestock each year in the U.S. Please let the public, especially the hunting public know that many types of game animals are lost to coyote predation each year as well. Not to mention their impact on other species of wildlife. Thank you, Al Robb, Utah
Just found your channel (Video's) very informative looking to watch more..
Where do you buy that dispatch pole
Great tools from Wiebe knives! Zipper and scalpel blade knife are great for trappers!
