Often times we create beautifull scenes in Blender however when we are building games we need to somehow get the scene into the game engine as best as we can get. So In this video I explained how one can export a scene created in Blender and import into Unity including the same textures and materials.

I was just wondering, if we want to create an Unreal landscape which has varied terrain, mountains and hills and flat marshlands, should we use one Blender ANT mesh that we sculpt for the entire environment and bring it into unreal, or should we use multiple ANT landscapes? Thanks so much!
You can create a single ANT landscape in blender and export it to unreal, then inside unreal you can still sculpt, flat etc. to create rivers or other shapes.

Not this method but In the video I mentioned another open source project for that, you can find the link to it in the description
For those wondering: yes if you use the kinect 2, or even better two kinect 2's you get a lot better results. I have done over 6 hours of animation on it. But of course the main problem with mocap isn't recording, it's working with it in the software. If you are using ipisoft(which allows you a free trial with two kinects that you can abuse with virtual machines) please use mixamo export, the unreal one is just bad on it
do u need an xbox or just can conect the kinect to ur PC? thankssssss
Nope you just need an adapter to plug it into your pc and to the wall for power supply

What if you got 2 kinects? Can it do 2 or 3? for more accuracy.
Well in theory it provides better result but I haven’t tested it yet due to limited space :( I might make a video on that in the future

This method outputs data for blender but inside blender you can then export it as an fbx file and use it in Unreal

I haven't tested it yet, but I believe it will work, since you're essentially combining all the textures into a single one that connects to the base color or normal channel, etc.
