I was lucky to have seen SRV live in Seattle 1985, my sister worked for a radio station I’m my town so we had back stage passes I did not talk to him much but did shake his hand and hear him interact with other fans it was clear to me he a super humble man and he loved his fans, that said two things that stick out to me when I met him, 1-As a kid hearing him play on the radio I had this vision that he was 10’ tall so you can imagined my surprise when I saw him in person and he was only like 5’6, 2-I will never forget how big his and were for such a short man and they felt like rocks. I was crushed when I heard the new that SRV passed RIP Stevie gone but never forgotten.

Queens of Rock. My favorite from this album. Of their 6 new songs, Consume is my favorite and it beat out 6ft. Deep, Sharks, Apologize, Satisfied, and Escapism. Being last isn't anything in this album because they all bang in their own right. Enjoy the album

yeah, this show was in 1989 about a year before Stevie died, it was recorded for Austin City Limits and if you'd like to see the whole show it's availabe under the name 'One Night in Texas'. i would suggest 'Texas Flood' and 'Lenny' both live at the El Mocambo and in that order, he was on fire that hight (sometime in 1983) and those 2 tracks will give you a fuller grasp of just how great Stevie was. something worth noting is that Stevie and his older brother Jimmy (who still tours btw, not Stevie but a damned fine guitarist), were both completely self taught by listening to music and then imitating it until they could play it so they don't read music, they FEEL it when they play it which means that each performance is unique, so you might consider reacting to Stevie's rendition of VooDoo Child in Nashville, i think it was recorded in 1984 but that could be wrong so just look for Nashville and you'll find it.

They've played Orange amps since they were little kids. Their Dad ran a recording studio years ago. So they have a lot of great gear and have for years. Monica 'Mony' Velez is the beautiful Mom. Their Dad isn't bad looking, either. They both travel with their kids on tour! It's a family business. Mom was a dentist and Dad was an engineer. These days, they're on the road as personal manager and co-manager (with Rudy Joffroy as the other co-manager). They have pretty phenomenal parents, and they know it.

Not too many bands that have the nerve (and talent) to pull this off. They debuted the song live at this concert - brand new, and no one but them and their inner circle (including the engineer and producer of the studio version) had ever heard it. This is not the first time they have done this sort of thing.

This is a power trio of Mexican sisters. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band, and currently are only in their late teens and early twenties. They started in grade school! They came onto the worldwide scene with their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were only 14, 12, and 9! That TH-cam video went viral and was just the beginning of what was to come. Time to learn the girls' names! Dany is the lead singer and guitarist, age 24. Pau is drummer and can be second lead singer, also does backups, age 22. Ale is the bassist and backup singer, age 19. All three also play piano as they are classically trained! Their full names are Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal. Many of us became hooked on the Warning with their two Tedx performances in 2016 and 2017. For further reactions, I would also use the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert. It was professionally recorded so the audio and video were phenomenal. There are many of their best songs in that concert. And more currently some new ones from their coming 4th album in June. Enjoy the rabbit hole as they have over 400 videos on their channel and over 65 original songs. You've been warned!

This album is mind blowing good from start to finish. I just watched two vids of the playing Satisfied and Consume live for the first time, and (as always and aside from some “mix” issues with iPhone vids) the live is as good if not better than the studio versions. If these three don’t win the Grammy rock album of the year, I’ll be shocked. September 27 can’t get here soon enough. 🔥🔥🔥🤯🤯🤯
