I have been spending hundreds of hours building outposts in search of the perfect defense that will not only keep enemies away from your extractors and resources but also keep them as far away from you as possible. A good outpost is a safe outpost, I always say, and I aim to find that perfect blend. This video proudly presents The Fortress, an outpost so powerful and so perfect in location that it bears the name "unbeatable". Why is this location so perfect? Well I chose to build the Fortress on New Atlantis not because it's the only place to have water, nope, there are many planets in the settled systems that have large bodies of water. It's because I was so frequently raided when I built my first outpost there many moons ago. In fact, I was repeatedly attacked while actively building the Fortress! So, the perfect spot to test the vulnerability of an outpost would be this exact spot! There are some more tips and tricks in the video, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
