Last time running stock new heads and intake to come the supercharger
I did this in Texas. A new corvette, a gt500 and a lambo. It was freaking awesome! Then in Denver I did a driving experience in supercars. It out on public street so I was worried it would be lame but the pilot car leading us was flying. I drove an Evo, another lambo, a McLaren and something else I can't remember. That was a blast!
looks boring af
I'm sorry you feel that way as a car guy I really enjoyed it because I can't afford a 300k dollar car this was a great option to drive one
Nice you dumped 10 seconds off your first lap time!
Thanks to be fair the first lap was a warm up for me to get comfortable in the car having never driven a supercar before
@@mattwhite3113 it’s a blast isn’t it? I want to do 30 laps
I was faster in the 488 ( 58:xx) but I had more fun in the Huracan 101:xx)
@Ryansrangereport I plan to go back and do more cars I want to try the 498 challenge and the sto
Did this car feel light in the front end? Like, on turn entry did it seem not as strongly set as it should be? The reason i ask is due to Lamborghini weight distribution. They are lighter on the front end than any other brand of supercar. Which would cause it to feel darty and ungrounded. There is a reason almost all of the fastest times there are set by the porsche because that car has a 50/50 weight distribution while Lamborghini is about 42% front 58% rear
To be fair I wouldn't really know this was my first time driving any super car but to me it felt quite solid and I could have posed it harder with me experience watch my ride along video with the instructor he pushed the car very hard
nice video thanks for sharing The Huracan sounds beautiful
@alexpayette4588 if you watch my other video in the ride along car had an exhaust
Dumb question but I’ve never driven a stick before, do they teach you?
This car has a duel clutch transmission so it's auto but you can shift it with paddles on the steering wheel
Did you request to have the speed in KPH?
No I didn't I think they all are in the video the car obviously was mph
Love the sound of that engine. You pushed the car and enjoyed yourself. Cheers!
I'm planning a trip next year more cars more laps it was such a great experience
Good job for your first time, but that instructor was superb. Remember kids, when it oversteers out, ride it out don't hit the brake!
Thanks I feel like I just turned in I don't remember hitting the brake but he is the pro and I'm not lol
I drive super/hyper cars all the time, and this Instructor makes it look easy!
He is a very good driver and knows those cars and that track really well
So how does the liability work, incase you wreck? Do you purchase separate rental insurance as you would a Hertz rental car?
Just sign a waiver I assume they have great insurance for them and you sign saying you agree to their terms
Insurance is included in the cost you pay to them.
Nice to hear Tony Hawk instruct a lap haha
So funny you thought the car caught itself like fanatec direct drive wheel base or somerhing😂😂.
No I counter steered into the slide but I thought the abs and traction control helped me plus his hand on the wheel I just didn't realize he had a brake
You should definitely make a before and after
This box side was caved in pretty good I just wish the rest of the truck was done
Oml my jaw dropped, you did some amazing work! Honestly post how the master did that!
that looks so fun. I hear the cars faintly everyday when my house is quiet. I live a couple miles away from here in the neighborhood
Where in BC are you?
In vernon
@@mattwhite3113 I’m in the lower mainland.. to bad your not close always nice to have more foxbody guys to work on the cars with!
Definitely too bad I love sharing stories and mechanical tips
Ohn I'm not paying 1k dollars to get told when to shift and brake.
Then don't go
Also you can’t go over 120 when I went
@overv434 I don't think that's true the huracan went over 200kph I got up to high 190s but the ride along we got over 200
Id avoid Speed Vegas. Instead, go to Dream racing (across the street). They have MUCH faster GT race cars. Study the track, do well on sims- and then they'll gladly not speak during your laps. I go all the time.
my first lap was 18 sec with F430
That's not possible the fastest lap on that track is 55 seconds
I had wobble in the S’s too.. this instructor was coaching you so well. Wish I had someone this good. Next time I’ll as for hunter
I would definitely recommend him he was amazing
I had the same experience, my instructor was not the best. Unfortunately mine wasn’t hunter
im going next month- cant wait... I read tipping the instructor is customary, what's an appropriate tip for 5 laps?
Maybe a $20-50? I am going in a couple weeks and wasn't aware about tipping but that's how much I would give. When I went skydiving last year I tipped my instructor around 50-70 i think. Should have tipped more since i survived lol
I didn't hear about tipping and didn't
It's Vegas. Of course they want tips. But there is 0 need to do so. You're paying many hundreds of dollars to spend 5 minutes in a car, and Instructors are well paid. Save your money!
Yup . I’ll be partaking on my birthday trip this just sealed the deal !!
You will have a blast any idea what cat your want to drive yet
MAN this instructor sounds great, I’m going this weekend, gonna watch this a dozen times to study LOL
His name is hunter if you want him as your instructor you can ask
Make sure you get the videos and post it I want to see . My best time was 1min . Something
y is a huracan on a race track being driven at 60k/ph
Are you referring to the first lap where he is teaching me the course
Cool!
would have been better if you drove it. But hey bet it was still fun
Watch the other video I drove three green one
If you're new, it's good to do a ride along. That way, you feel the G's and car's limits!
Living your dream!!!!!
You ever get back to this?
It's in my garage saving up money to get the parts I need before I can continue it might be coming back to my shop we are doing A poll on which fox to build its winning so might be some updates soon
@@mattwhite3113 awesome! I'm a bit behind, heard the story, have an '87 Ttop myself, just was curious.
You should put some doors from a 1991 Lincoln town car on there
Don’t forget the supercharger!!! I’m patiently waiting forChris’s suggestion. Lol
I’m sooo coming over to leave a set of black marks in front of your house
no you are not i like my neighbors lol
You know what you should do...
I would prob hit that wity 80 grit in a power sander . Should do a nice shine . Yours looks really great too
Lmao cracks me up every time he says it
That would be an awesome 12 hours
Loved every minute of it
It’s about time you started posting more!!!
U better be bringing that thing down to the shop soon. Supercharger must be getting pretty dusty by now
