I have an interview for university of chester for the intergrated masters of nursing in adult and learning disability and what everyone has said I can feel that fire and passion for change and its spoke to my personal passion for changing the world for those with Learning Disabilities we can do this, we have to do this and we will do this and I would be absolutely proud to be part of such an amazing profession and I'm so excited!!! :)

My Mom has confusion with an infection. She was blue lighted to a and e and was given diazapam for seizure. Her stare was fixed to the right but a ct scan showed no stroke. She has a lung infection so the doctors felt her confusion is due to that. We are waiting to see if she improves but its scary as a carer that she has been living in her own home with only us to look after her properly ie keep her safe/fed etc. There seems a hole in the uk in overseeing elderly peoples needs are being taken care of as its taken a medical emergency for her to be seen and now assessed. She was diagnosed with chest infection over the phone by her gp before she went downhill. She should of been seen. She has passed history of chf and af. I would be very relieved if the OT at the hospital can assess her correctly when shes stableized as to if she can cope living on her own. I dont think packages of care are thorough enough and I honestly want someone else to take her care over to do it correctly for her sake as well as my own. I dont think I am enough to care for her at home and am not wise enough to make decisions day to day - also carers get used to situations which an outsider might think oh they should be dealing with that. I am not a trained medical person, a trained carer nor super wize nor a psychiatrist - also as the daughter its taken for granted I dont have my own medical needs .... which in fact I do.... elderly people deserve proper care.

Living with hypothyroidism was so hard and painful, but thanks to doctor okouromi treatment using herb’s to get rid of thyroid problems……………
