It's been a while since I originally cast these characters, but I remember it being a tough decision between Applejack and Rainbow Dash for Anakin. Rainbow definitely has the same cocky, arrogant exterior as Anakin in the movies, but she didn't have the same level of anger as Applejack, who is probably the character who blows her top the most in the show. In the end, the deciding factor was Ahsoka; if Rainbow Dash was Anakin, I didn't know who would play her (while I didn't end up doing more full episodes, I was taking all the major characters in the show into consideration when I was casting). There's Scootaloo, but she felt too young for the role, so in the end, I decided to cast Applejack as Anakin and Rainbow Dash as Ahsoka.

Her master would've been so proud if he didn't become vader he'd hear about her helping to start the rebel alliance and doing the right thing he'd more than likely join in the fight himself
