The Jimny WPL C74 did it again! Beating others in its class; a true sleeper "crawler" indeed. The modified C74 not only surprised but also impressed me that it could do wonders with its tiny tires, standard issue 370 motor and a 2s Lipo. The best 1/12 RC Kit Money can buy: The MN86KS. Instead of the usual MN & WPL models, this chassis is more like a mini 1/10 SCX10. The only disadvantage is the Top Heavy hardbody not suitable for challenging crawls. I have upgraded almost everything except the axle casing, stock plastic brackets, transfer case and gearbox.

It has been a rainy day and took the WPL Jimny C74 for a run after installing the wheel weights. The little guy did quite well on wet condition but you'd really need to pick your lines over bigger rocks or more challenging terrains.

The WPL C74 has been upgraded with metals axles, shafts and wheel weights. Also upgraded with better electronics for smoother operations. What upgrades did you do on your Jimny C74? WPL D42 School Bus/Van modified to 4x4 with MN parts. Using all the cheapest MN parts to make the drifter goes off-road trailing. Got this RTR unit for under $40! Upgraded WPL C74 off-road trial run. Ditched the lousy electronics. Added springs to the oil struts and completely screwed the articulation. With have them removed and installing wheel weights instead. - HW 1060 - Dumborc receiver - 2s lipo - Metal drive shafts - Metal truss
