@@marcmarinelli8046 thanks for your comment. There are different possibilities. 1. You can do rollfold with different plates. Using plate 1 and 3 for ⅓ folding length is popular, but even plate 1 and 2 are possible (⅔ & ⅓) but inefficient. At a zig zag fold it is correct to adjust the rollers till the last fold with 1 paper. But at the rollfold it is okay to underlay 2 papers after the first fold, as long the roller for the next fold becomes adjusted with 1 paper. For example: Plate 1 - roller 1 = 1pcs - roller 2 = 1 or 2pcs, both are correct Plate 3 - roller 3 = 1 pcs So, you both were correct 💯💯 👍 A trick to avoid dog ears is, to rollfold the sheet into the bottom plates and to open the last rollers! You are correct, for a combi folder (no matter which supplier), but at the TH buckle plate machine I would some doubts. First, that's one of the reasons we designed the shingle principle, that reduces the stress for paper, machine and operator. A buckle plate machine does the fold with a side lay, plate and rollers. At each knife fold section you need front stops, side stops, top/down alignments, some wheels, brushes or ramps to avoid the bounce back effect and the knife you need to control in hight and angle. So the complexity at combi machines is way higher, instead of plate machines. No matter if you like manual or automated folder, both systems have their qualities. We even offer courses to show how to repair, but that even depends from which region you are from. There is even the possibility for one till two free days showing you our showroom, the technic and take care for all you question, we call that technology day's. I never had any of those courses, I just was looking at what my colleagues have done and I tell you, that it is really not that complicate to repair and maintain folders. The variety of different systems/suppliers makes it more harder. On average the THP at the customer runs between 14-20k with 16pp. That depends which paper, gramages, grain direction, stack quality, ink & powder they use, how much the operator earns, how many machines customers have, how the speed of other machines is, if he uses robotic solutions (and what type), die the climatic state is etc... Da ich in Frankreich wohne kann ich nicht an Pflanzentauschaktionen in Deutschland teilnehmen, ist ein bisschen weit und somit nicht ecologisch😉 Aber ich werde vesuchen Samen bei den angegeben Betrieben zu bekommen. Der verbreitete Gärtnertraum hier ist leider der "jardin à la française" sehr durchorganisiert, beschnippelt und Richtung Schlossgarten. Mein Traumgarten ist eher Permakultur und buntgemischt Gemüse, Obst und Blumen mit vielen Planzen für Insekten, Igel usw. Mit anderen Worten der Albtraum meiner Nachbarn🤣

Hi Mark, nice to read from you. Greetings from Heidelberg! The P-Stacker takes the cardboard by two green suckers. The max. height is 1,06m but with 12 stacks of A4 on each layer. One of the most important details is the gap between the stacks, they are so small that the folds of the next layer are completely pressed down. Like a hand made palette, just our system is doing that... A few weeks ago I had a customer they asked me for support and spare parts for a K-machine from the 60es 😄👍 They still produce with the machine, amazing! Ja das ist allgemein an jeden System immer kritisch. Da kommt einfach noch kein System an den Menschen ran. Die Stärke am HD Roboter ist die Geschwindigkeit, d.h. du kannst recht kleine Pakete machen um die Falzsteigung zu reduzieren und dann auch immer Zwischenlagen setzten. Da wird die Palette schon sehr stabil... Gibt natürlich auch UV gedrucktes Material da kannst du die Planobogen kaum mit dem Hubwagen fahren, das ist dann natürlich extrem 🤪👍

They'll not build anymore, so you just can buy exist moduls. Many colleagues in all german folding companys they are older than 30, should produced them in there apprenticeship. I couldn't find some on Ebay, to get a price is hard. I definitatly can say, You can't get mine XD
