I remember listening to The Vineyard Winds of Worship cd in my shop class in high school and the presence of God would just come over me. I used to have a stereo CD player, that would wake me up in the morning with these worship songs. I would just sit up in my bed & stretch out my hands.
I will always remember the October Sunday back in 1981 when the Calvary Chapel Denver pastor Tom Stipe announced that they were changing the name of the church to the Vineyard. It would take the next several years for me to find out what that meant. The church met in an old liquor store the size of a small wal-mart, so the joke was that we were filling the building with "new wine." They didn't have Eddie Espinoza but they did have Danny Daniels and others who had recordings out, including Pastor Tom himself. A few years later, the Vineyard Boulder pastor was instrumental in helping found the Promise Keepers movement with the coach of the University of Colorado. At that time, God gave his team the national championship in collegiate football, so they couldn't really fire him for preaching the gospel and filling stadiums with 50,000 Christian men who were singing Vineyard worship songs, among others. Those were amazing times.
I went several times to the DEN Vineyard on Sheridan & have found several people during my walk w/Jesus who were also there. Many of them are now at Bridgeway Church. I volunteered once at a PK Conf. on the CU campus. I'd not known till reading your comment that the Bldr pastor was influencial in founding PK. Good report on easier days--glad you commented.
I was at the san luis obispo vineyard in 1983, Carl Tuttle was our worship leader, then at Anaheim vineyard from 1984 to 1997 with Eddie espinosa as worship leader...moved to Corona ,ca in 1997 and went to Inland Vineyard till 2016...now at Calvary Chapel San Pedro Ca....love hearing the old songs...❤
Hey ! De quelle année s'agit-il ? Merci 🧡on y entend "Oh Lord You're beautiful"de Keith et Melody Green. Et des chants que je chante avec mes enfants. J'aime ces chants 🤗j'aime Jésus💗
Gabriel...I was part of anaheim vineyard from 1984 to 1997 and inland vineyard in corona from 1997 to 2016...I miss the worship. There is only calvary chapel here in san pedro...the worship is not the same and the pastor speaks negatively about the vineyard movement...it's sad 😢😞💔 but I love Jesus and pray for change here 🙏❤
There will never ever be another church like the John Wimber days of The Vineyard! God I miss those days. These were true spirit filled worship songs and I can listen to the classic Vineyard songs and just bring myself mentally back to The Vineyard and remember how I felt
We have such wonderful memories of past spirit led worship times, but the Lord reminds me that best is yet to come. The latter house will be more glorious than the former. We have so much to look forward to. As the heart becomes purer, so does its worship.
My friend Rodney said to me, there is something happening out in Yorba Linda. We need to go check it out. So we went one night. We were at a high school. When we got out of the truck we were greeted by the Holy Spirit out in the parking lot. When we went into the gym it was awesome. Pure worship was taking place. Not like the entertainment worship bands of some places these days with their laser lights and smoke machines. This was pure worship of our LORD. I am amazed that someone bootlegged the worship, and this is it! I was present during this worship session. You can see the difference between some of today's mosh pit type worship and this pure worship. This was the magnificent start of the Vineyard association of Churches. Since John Wimber and Lonnie Frisbee have gone to heaven the Vineyard has taken a very low profile and is no longer anointed like it once was in it's inception. There are still a few Vineyard churches that remained pure and are like this. The audio quality is not the best with clicks and hiss here and there but you do get to see what true worship of God should be like. Praise God!
@@AMEER-114-it really doesn't even matter, in times like these you never forget those sets, when the presence of God is so strong, and there's so much love from the body of Christ.
...this very point in time, the Vineyard was the forefront in worship, touching the Heart of G_D ! I remember very clearly where I was in my walk, such precious, priceless times!
Round 1999-2000 at that time some one had gave me a cassette tape with songs ✝️🛐🕎of worship and that drew me close to God I haven't found that songs yet 💖 🙏🏻

Who was the worship leader back than was it Marc Nelson?
I went here back in 2000, miss Pastor John see you soon beloved you ran the race and fought a great fight.

I attend Calvary Chapel Chino Valley and I don’t like how our worship team only sings current new worship music every service simply because it’s new.

Oh yes Vineyard worship at its finest!
God let us bring it back to simply loving you and letting you work through us.
