I double dog dare the CMA and ACM to nominate this as song and single of the year in 2025.... Love it! There are subtle references to old country music - the echoing hello hello will recall the Willie Nelson / Faron Young classic "Hello Walls". The close harmony you hear from Jake and Miranda is pure country. The easy going sound complete with fiddle and steel. Then toss in a sprinkle of the tinkling piano in the background. This is what put Nashville on the map. Jake, I hope you adopt this 'sound' going forward.
