    I would caution against using a Roman missal that has been around since after 1970 as those missals are not using the proper formula as they have been manipulated to follow the NOVUS ORDO ECUMENICAL Mass of Paul V1 ,that is suited to PROTESTANTS., where many prayers have been omitted and so many other prayers being altered or completely omitted The MISSALS I would recommend are the 1962 or earlier versions that are close to the original versions commonly used before VATICAN 2 that are by ANGELUS PRESS .

    Very helpful and I like how it could be used by a member of the parish or by a seminarian. I am a deacon preparing for ordination and we did this class a year ago - I needed a refresher! So thank you very much!

    All the Missals are very Bad except the Saint Andrews missile. Beware the Fr. Lasance New Roman MissalWhich Was Traditional in 1945, when It Was Published also the Saint Joseph's missile !!! But Now Has Been "Modernized" To Include the John 23/ Archbishop Bugnini/Pius XII Corruptions up to 1960.These Corruptions Include the Gutting Of the Most Ancient Rites of the Church The Sacred Rites of Holy Week and the Sacred Mass.I Recommend Instead the St. Andrew Daily Missal. Which Is Still in Print in the Unrevised 1945 Edition. First of all, the term "Latin Mass" is condemned for Traditional Catholics because it includes the invalid (fake) New Order Mass in Latin and the Half New Order New Latin Mass of 1962 (Saint Joseph missile). The correct term is "Traditional Latin Mass," which properly excludes the Corruptions of the 1950s and 1960, that led up to the Vatican 2 current Protestant-Masonic-Pagan "New Mass" of 1969. The term "Traditional Latin Mass" is correctly applied only to the “True Mass” before it was Corrupted starting in 1951. The term does not properly include the Corrupted Half New Order Vatican II Mass of 1962, by which the Saint Joseph missile was the stepping stone to the Vatican 2 church's "New Mass." Fr. F.X. Lasance's New Roman Missal in Latin and English However, the only edition currently in print is a version that was "modernized" to 1958. That edition is not fully acceptable because it contains "additions" introduced by the Chief Architect of the New Order Mass, bishop Hannibal Bugnini under Pius XII from 1945 to 1958. The best traditional and most complete Catholic handmissal is the St. Andrew Daily Missal with Vespers for Sundays and Feasts and Kyriale, which was published in 1945. An exact reprint of that traditional Catholic handmissal with no "updates" is still in publication. A St. Andrew Daily Missal of 1945 The Best and Most CompleteTraditional Catholic Handmissal for Laypeople Turned to a Page on Which a Collect Prayer Occurs The Collect Prayers (Orations) in the Roman Missal Constitute Some of the Most Ancient Words That Have Come down to Us from Apostolic Times. In the Latin Originals Their Prose Rhythms And Classical Rhetoric Are Exquisitely Beautiful. In His Thousand-page "La Riforma Liturgica (1948-1975) The Chief Architect of the New "Liturgy," Bishop Hannibal Bugnini Documented in Detail the Steps Taken in 1945 To Begin the Destruction of the Catholic Mass and Divine Office Which Started in 1962 with His Destruction Of the Most Sacred Apostolic Rites of Holy Week The Purpose of Which, He Writes, Was to Introduced Protestantism Into a New church of the New Order the Vatican 2 church. Which Was in Fact Founded in 1962 to 1965 at the Vatican II Anti-council It was no coincidence that in the same year, 1956, Bugnini began his destruction of the Mass, which accelerated with the 1960-1965 corruptions and culminated in 1969 when the New church abolished the True Mass entirely and replaced it with the Protestant-Masonic-Pagan Novus Ordo Service. Nor was it any coincidence that in 1968, the year before the Novus Order was introduced, this New church abolished the Sacrament of Holy Orders and the Catholic priesthood, replacing it with a Protestant-based New Ordinal that merely "installs" presbyter-ministers like the Protestants. Thus, there is no Mass in this New church -- 1962 or 1969 -- because the personnel simulating it are not ordained priests. For the same reason, you are hearing more talk in New church about the coming of priestesses and deaconnesses. All of this New church's corruption in liturgy, doctrine, and morality is completely understandable when you accept the reality that is before your nose: the New church of the New Order is certainly not the Catholic Church, and no true Catholic can have anything to do with it. Paul VI-Montini, Sells out the Catholic Church To the Freemason fake priest Hannibal Bugnini Architect of Invalid (Fake) New Order Catholic church. Protestant-Masonic-Pagan "New Mass" in 1969. But It Was Pius XII Who Appointed bishop Bugnini To Head the "Reformation Committee" Which Gradually from 1951 to 1962 to 1969 Destroyed the True Mass of the Catholic Church !!! The Traditional Latin Mass (Which Is Not the 1962 New Latin Mess) by the heretic John 23. This is why we use the St Andrews missile and no other falsified missiles. God Love you

    Hi Deacon Mike, this is Deacon Paul from Jamaica. I started listening to your video and thought that I was listening to myself. I was asked to give a lesson on the Roman Missal tomorrow morning to some fellow deacons, so I just wanted to refresh myself. Like you I was afraid of using it when was ordained. Lovely video.

    Why is there no 1st and 2nd readings and no Gospel in this Missal????

    • @aggieyellowjacket
      @aggieyellowjacket 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Missal does not contain the readings. Readings have been split from the Roman Missal and can be found in the Lectionary.

      Readings are added to “hand missals” for laity for our convenience and edification. Altar missals do not have these.

    • @aggieyellowjacket
      @aggieyellowjacket 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually put the ribbon at the second since it is most common in my parish. Since most Roman Missals have tabs for each Eucharistic Prayer, the presider can easily flip to his preference.

    whats the différence between a rosary cord #21 and 36 ?

    • @RuffLifeGoldens
      @RuffLifeGoldens 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      21 is a more thin twine and will make a smaller rosary and 36 is thicker and will make a normal size rosary.

    SUGGESTION for improvement: Many viewers are rank beginners, therefore, it's important to tell people what is the minimum length needed for the crossbar to make the corded cross. In the video, all you said was to "use the leftover cord". The approximate minimum length of that "leftover cord" is very important.

    Practice, practice, practice. If you're just beginning to learn the technique, you might like to consider making a single decade chaplet with a corded cross at the end. I have two similar tools but since I have very small hands/fingers, I use the tip of my non-dominant hand index finger then slip my long sewing machine threading tweezers up through the wrapped cords to reach up high above the intended knot and pull them all through much easier. Works great ;)

      +Annita Gonzalez I use a DREMEL tool that has a small wood-burning tip to seal the ends of the twine. I immediately seal the ends as a "cut" the 20 ft. of cord off the roll then seal each end end portions. Much easier & safer than using a butane lighter.
