This game is masterpiece
こがたな、えぐりてぶくろ、かわのたてを2つ手に入れて使い回せば余裕でクリア出来るゲーム。 攻撃力999で放つきわめの一撃は一見の価値有り。

What moves are you using with maria towards the end? Are they just the regular phys attacks plus a skill?
In the late game, use crescent locus and triple kicks on Maria while continuously cracking enemy protection with Sophia's thunder flare and Cliff's fists of fury. If the thunder flare or fists of fury remain, the triple kick will not blow the enemy away, so you can attack continuously.
Amazing run, recently decided to give the old favorite a replay recently and got to make great use of your run when I'd get stuck cause it's been years since I played it
あの将棋のセタがRPGを作るなんて思わなかったから、やってみたが途中で挫折した。。ｗ 全部見れてよかった。やはりフェアリーのファナちゃんと結ばれたのか、でも子供ができるわけでもないかｗ、旅をしてる時はそんなシーンは全然なかった。序盤、リュウがファナにキスするシーンがあってそのキスの意味をファナが知らないっていう、それもほっこりよかったかな。まぁリュウが望んで宇宙の果てでファナちゃんと生活していくのは、まぁいいかな、連れて帰るかと思った。ま、ドラクエ３みたく穴が閉じて強制的に母親に会えなくてロトにされるよりはマシかなｗ
ディガンの魔石っていう作品はガデュリンの続編だとか言われてる様です
小説版も面白い。長いし、難しいが、かなりおすすめ。

Started replaying this game today, wanted to see how speedrunners do things for fun. How is Fayt’s damage so high throughout the game? Regularly doing 15x more damage than normal. Is that skill really that strong?
Please equip warrior's bracelet(15:54) and buy a holy sword(17:20). Enemies in the early stage have a weak point of fire attribute, Blazing sword and Hammer of might are effective.

Latest resources for the run? Are the guides at www.speedrun.com/so3/guide/as0nw still the most relevant? Any useful guides on getting good at all the combat tricks that are used in the run?
There are few established "fastest" methods, I think each one takes the method that he or she thinks is the fastest.

@@apple5297 couldn't the speedrun community implement a "ignore load time" rule for RTA? I know some PC versions of games skip load times due to variable processor speeds and such
That's a good idea. However, even if exclude the loading time, the total game time will vary depending on the PS2 model number. I think it's easier to move the platform from PS2 to PS4. (It's difficult to get the decent PS2 of the US version in Japan, and vice versa.) But this is a salty game, so it's not as popular as it needs to be discussed ...
@@apple5297 does the PS4 version in Japan have issues with crashing? In NA the ps4 version is known to crash.
@@SymmRTA I've experienced an application error only once with the PS4 version in Japan on CUH-1200, but I think it's nothing to worry about.

That's awesome playthrough you got there. I'm amazed how fast you went through this. I'm replaying this again on pc rather than ps2 due to quality being better and my old ps2 ended up hanging every moment I play the last dungeon in the past making me unable to finish it. With covid-19 this is the best time to revisit old games for playthrough.

Love this game so much. I played this game well over 1000hrs. Just started a new game last week. Amazing story too. You are awesome at it and I loved the video.

1000 hours is about 42 days
Collecting battle trophies in this game takes a huge amount of time. I think it takes about a week to reach 100% trophies even if speedrun with the turbo controller.
Dude we were in the same boat. 🛥️ and this game was the Yacht of Star Oceans. So much nostalgia man. God I loved this game to death. You couldn’t get me to stop playing this game! Imagine my disappointment when they developer said he didn’t have any plans of remaking this game nor were there plans of a remaster. Come on Bruv. This game is goated. Absolutely amazing game with tons of content and replay ability, and even the characters that were the least useful could become OP if you knew what you were doing and you grow to like them to some extent. Like Adray Lasbard. Man that guy pissed me off to no end when I first acquired him. Dude was literally walking False advertisement lol. But nothing was off the table with this game. We need to create a petition to have this memory restored and bring this game back.

There are at least three people who have faster record than me in the Japanese version. Nobody want to do the English version because there are a lot of long loading.

How lucky do you have to be to get this run? I want to try but invention has a low chance of working >.<
first invention 35:40 Gatling garter (ATK 250): 15% within 4~5 times or Damascus knuckle (ATK 160): 35% within 10 times if luck is bad , please purchase weapons or press reset. next invention 1:50:30 Orihalcon : 25% (Mackwell free challenge : 14%) , specify plan : ?% (not analyzed) and duck-duck bomb : 4 pieces (at least 1 and register patent) if you maintain FOL bonus, maybe you can avoid the worst case. I had reached the end 2~3 times a month at that time.
