This is the secondary account of Rich Thompson (CSXno601). This channel will feature all of my non-railroad content, mainly personal vlogs and (more importantly) footage of the greatest animatronic band in history: The Rock-afire Explosion. Here's a little bonus I filmed on my latest October 2024 visit to Billy Bob's Wonderland: The Rock-afire Explosion's 1987-1988 New Years show! Coming in at 40+ minutes total, this show deserved its own separate video. I tried to keep the cuts down to an absolute minimum so I could get as much of the show as I could. Enjoy!

I have just returned from a nearly 3-day trip to Billy Bob's Wonderland in Barboursville, West Virginia to attend "Billy Con 4," the fourth annual convention to commemorate the Rock-afire Explosion animatronic band that performed in Showbiz Pizza Place locations back in the 80s. Dooks legs could be better and all their lips are chapped due to no one creating better quality masks. They need to add something to the lips of the latex to make them stronger to last longer

@@yackary1234 Yeah, his one leg snapped from all the movement and needs welded. They're currently working on finding a way to have it fixed, to my knowledge.

Glad to see they're getting festive with the decorations and Christmas segments. Also Beach Bear's leg being crossed towards the end is like Scandia Golf & Games all over again, hopefully his broken loose leg can be fixed at some point.

man dook reallly needs a new mask
God. Literally the only big problem I have with BBWL's show atm is dook's mask. If they can sort that out, then I would be so happy!! Nonetheless, at least we have footage of this show at all!!
@FortuneStar97 They're trying to get a couple new masks soon, so I'm hoping Dook will look better again before long! I personally hope they can manage a new compressor at some point. I'd like to see Beach Bear move fully at BBWL again!
When i went to matlock they didnt play talking in your sleep, the show schedule said they were but they replaced it with the fnaf 1 song sadly
@tomstertomfoolery That's unfortunate to hear, but hopefully you'll be able to get Talking In Your Sleep sometime. It seems to get played a lot now, especially since it was used in the FNAF movie. Someone else actually requested it here this day, but I wasn't complaining lol. It comes with Talk To Ya Later, which I also like a lot! Anyways, thanks for watching!

Man I’d love to see the rock afire explosion at least once in my lifetime but this place is 11 hours from me and I can’t justify the trip. I’m jealous of those who live closer to this location
Somehow I just caught this. I live 4 hours away myself, and I even have a difficult time making visits as much as I'd like. 11 hours would definitely be a challenge! I'll make sure to keep filming as many shows as I can for those who can't make it often or live too far!

I was billy bob for the live performance! It was my first time ever in a mascot costume and I had about 7 hours of practice😅 they weren’t gonna do the show originally but I agreed to help! Lots of fun! Good video I’m also the person writing teen angel at the beginning and I was doing a lot of dancing with my pal Juju who played Mitzi.
@Aoife_777 I think you did great in the dance contest! I was really happy when it happened, because I had been looking forward to seeing the walk-arounds in action lol.
