I made my own every air flow. 40% increase of air flow. . Foam and aluminum duct tape $30 total. The price for this product is ridiculous

Seeing this just now.. because looking to buy an Eclipse Stellar RV and there is NO air flow into the ducts AT ALL. We pulled the cover and there are no duct holes like this guy showed in the video. Did Eclipse builders just forget to cut the duct openings?

170.00 bucks for 3 hours of doing it yourself. I rather save money

I'm an eternal skeptic, and shameless DIY'er/Modify'er......these things flat perform. It's rare to get 1/2 of the advertised gains, and this product delivers 100%. It gets HOT for a lot of the year in north Texas, I would not have an RV without these things.

I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

I have a jayco 33ft rv with 1 unit, its just not enough to cool it down. Its already plumbed for a second unit but i wanna try this before spending 2k for a 2nd unit?

I think when he opened or pushed the tape back that helped. I would love to see if he could make the turbulance go away but still keep the blow down feature. That would be the best of both worlds.

$170 seems way expensive for a piece of formed styrofoam, especially if you have 2 or 3 A/C units.

Nice review except you neglected to mention how far they are from the beach.

Better check your air flows. A/C are designed for approx 400-450 cfm/ ton. If you have a 15,000 Btu unit ( 1 1/4 tons ) normal air flow would be about 600 cfm. Not 6300 cfm.

How could you fix the issue on a non-ducted unit?

I installed one in my motorhome and was SHOCKED at the improvement in airflow and cooling. One of the best upgrades anyone can do to their RV.

We just purchased a 2023 GD Imagine 2670mk with 2 Furrion AC units. We just took it out to Branson Mo. on its 1st weekend out. 87 degrees, 59% humidity. And I'll tell ya what, they've made zero improvements on install quality of the ac units. We'll definitely be buying 2 of these for sure! Thank you for the great video!

How about a solution for us peasants without ducts and just a super loud A/C unit in the middle? :)

Three years and a pandemic later, it is getting quite touristy over the entire East Cape, Los Barilles included. Still pretty nice, though.

Hey Hampy Campers, my wife and I have the same RV and same Truck. We are being snowed into Tiger Run right now as we type. This dousing of snow was also unexpected. I opted a few weeks ago to leave on a Monday to avoid traffic. My wife is quite worried about the trek over I70 tomorrow. My Ram Dually lost control out of nowhere on the way up a few minutes ago just before the Tunnel, West-bound. Thank God we weren't towing. Where did you go to get your unit washed in Commerce?

I have been a hvac technician for 5 years and measured airflow on numerous systems. There is no way in this world that 2 or even 5 rv acs are moving 6473 cfm much less the 13062 you are claiming. A 5 ton ac in a commercial building only moves 2000 if it’s designed properly.

And I agree about how things have changed. 15 years ago it was much different than it is now. It’s still great but like all good things it gets discovered. And yes, it’s not fast. Haha! My mother in law built a home and that was quite the journey as well as maintaining. Being fluent in Spanish is very helpful when living there.

My mother in law lived in los barrilles for 20 years. I always enjoyed visiting and my husband and I still have friends there and plan to go next year. ✨

If you don't have this product, buy it! Being new to camping one thing I noticed right away was the poor airflow in my rv when I was remodeling it. I had already started thinking of building a duct to push the air through the vents to create better flow. My son had bought this system for his coleman mach and then bought a newer camper and removed the rv system before he sold his old one. He gave it to me because mine has the coleman mach. I too was skeptical but a quick install completely changed my mind! You will see dramatic air flow increases that you can feel flow 3 feet from the vents! The camper now has an even temperature throughout and in every room. Let me put it this way, if I ever upgrade to a new camper this would be the first purchase I will make to improve the ac. Also, I have zero affiliation with the company that makes these. This product works!

I have a 2006 Montana, and I took off my filter cover and looked up in the ac plenum area. I was amazed at the lack of engineering by the factory guys. Mine has two ducts, one on each side and the cool air has to come straight down, hits the plastic cover, then is distributed into the two ducts. Had I designed the system, I would have turned the ac unit around 180 degrees and brought the two ducts together in the front instead of the sides. I just don't understand why the design can't be more efficient.

Would this work on the Mach 8 series low profile ? All I have is ducting inside the trailer so would assume I would need to have the AC units taken off and this installed under them on the roof ? 2015 Lifestyle 40' 5th wheel with a full body paint job that's BLACK which makes it approx. 20 degrees hotter I'm assuming than regular trailers.

This is all and good for ducted systems. What about us poor schleps who have a non-ducted roof mounted AC unit. I guessing this product will not be applicable.

The only way to increase air flow is to add a booster fan. This styrofoam does nothing but redirect the air flow from the main output to the ductwork.
