It's cos it's an expensive base where they have drones that zap your battery power and render your NVG inoperable.... so anyway, if you land on a base and notice sparking, then it usually means you're in for a hard time 😓

@@Divine1715 yeah, that's what I thought you meant 😂It's actually not that bad in my experience... but maybe that's because the PC community is relatively small compared to other platforms nowadays.. But yeah, I've seen some suspect stuff in my base security logs, and I've certainly seen a lot of modded staff members...

yep, it's a DLC... it cost me about $1 i think, which is pretty crazy when the whole game only cost me about $10 - but i really wanted it 😝It would have been more economical to buy the Definitive Experience because that comes with all the cosmetic DLCs included...

oh i've fallen into the sea too many times to remember...😂 but it's usually because I pressed the wrong button... this was the first time I choked on my own smoke nade whilst in the middle of climbing the railing...

the sparks? it's caused by the drones on the base sapping my battery power (which basically means my night vision goggles won't work)

I don't think so! It's very noisy in general and I don't really like wearing it because when I'm crawling I can hear it clanking when I want to be listening for guards' footsteps.... I only wear it when I think there's a high possibility of getting killed 😆

I don't conclusively know, but I really hope NOT, otherwise it would be insanely overpowered, mega protection AND sneaking... from a design perspective, I think it's safe to assume it doesn't EDIT: I just wanted to add that I still wear the baby suit (battle dress) when going sneak on high security platforms (Lv8+ equipment, Lv40+ security), because the protection in case I get spotted is worth being just a bit louder. Spam smokes and sleep grenades can get you past big groups of guards and security cameras without giving away your position, even if you are a noisy clanker :P

No, the only outfits that have dampening soles are the sneaking suits, the 3 for male and The Boss white sneaking suit for females. All the other outfits you have to slow down your walk speed while crouch walking if you're near some1 so they don't hear your footsteps.

Bro I also want to learn how to power supply snipe but I can't pin-point it just need a little help 💜.

@@Mrs_Mishima Visit Mother Base platforms and learn where the power supply is on each platform and what it looks like on the map... then, when you're looking at a FOB platform to invade check to see if there is a line of sight to the power supply from the insertion point. Also, it helps (a bit) to put on NVG to highlight the power supply... but at a very long distance during the day, it doesn't help very much...

Have you considered sneaking to penultimate platform, planting a C4, then on the final platform throwing a grenade at the power generator? Then you can detonate the C4 and the guards, though on alert, will focus on the C4 location instead of you - might be a good tactic to try?

Yes you can do it on lots of platform types but it depends on where in the world the platform is located as they have different layouts depending on location (North Atlantic, Indian Ocean, South Pacific etc.) - I just noticed recently that the location where you can do the Medical platform (Mid-Atlantic Ridge) is pretty common - the other ones are a bit more rare and you don't see them as often.... btw you don't need the Serval to do this - I used to shoot the power supply with an ordinary assault rifle, but the problem with that is that it takes about 5 shots and if anyone on the final platform notices the shooting they immediately shout "We've got a sniper over here!" and then everything gets really INTENSE... 😂 The Serval can at least one-shot the power supply and sometimes they don't notice it's a sniper (like on this occasion).... otoh, when it's a sniper base, they tend to start swinging their scopes about as soon as they notice the damage....
