It does, the original US release didn’t have it either. The intro/attract mode is missing it on all Saturn versions as far as I remember too. You would almost think they were in a bit of a rush, lol.

Well spotted! It was a different model in the demo, the spoiler at the rear is much higher, and the front of the car is a bit different. It looks more like the Arcade car.

It's still fun driving with the old spoiler on the Celica, and a bit of a shake up listening to the Lake Side music on Forest. The handling is slightly different from the final release as well - way more understeer from the Celica, and less stable at the rear. It's a bit like having remixed DLC now for the main game, lol. Let me know if you beat the time!

Yes, but you need to convert the signal from composite to HDMI with a converter. RetroTINK, OSSC, something like that can do it and upscale the image at the same time so it looks much cleaner, but they are expensive. If you just want to play and don’t care about image quality, you can probably just get a generic composite to HDMI cable.

I have a few challenges in the “Extras” playlist trying to beat them using AT with a controller. The ghosts aren’t all that fast compared to players like us, but in their defence they didn’t have years to practice either. I love extras like this included in the game, really adds something a little bit special, especially after not initially knowing they existed at all - maybe months or years before discovered.

On course select (stay on Mountain): hold Brake (Square button I think) then press R2, R2, R2, R2, then press Start. A little sound should play to let you know it worked (I think it is quite hard to hear though, but that should work anyway).

The Delta on Forest is a great car. I prefer driving it to the Celica I think, just feels perfect for it. Cheese on toast it is then! lol

It is a difficult one, especially if trying to hit the other cars. Getting into the 12s might still be possible without the car bounces, they are more of an obstruction than anything. A Time Attack Championship mode would have been great without any of the CPU cars, just all the tracks in succession including Lake Side.

@@SEGARALLYCHAMPIONSHIP yeah as you probably know i don't tend to rely on the car bounces or wall hits, i've never really considered it an option to aim for, but they are often in the way!
