*EPISODE 56: From Trash Pit to Smash Hit* features a _super_ undiscovered game by one of my favorite designers of all time, Stefan Dorra. Banque Fatale is a borderline filler game with commodity speculation and blind bidding. It uses a clever color mechanism where your bidding chips directly affect the value of the cards you're trying to win. While the game is super light and quick, it packs a punch into a short play time and can be quite addictive. Simple to learn, tricky to master, elegant to play. This game is a gem!
