Bhai mere training 1 saal se chalu hai
elbows should always be used in particular situations like clinching or ground fighting and overall close range. Much harder to hit an elbow than a jab or straight. Jabs and straights always where it's at, its basic but the most effective tool. The dude practicing these elbows needs to practice form though. Needs to keep his hands higher, chin tucked and work on foot work and placement as well as overall stance. When he throws those elbows he needs to throw it like he's smashing someone's face and drive it out with a quick step slightly forward and twisting the hip and body being sure to pivot his back foot. It's good he's actually out there doing the work not many even do that. When practicing it's not always about the speed you'll get that speed practicing the form over and over until it is ingrained into you. Whenever I throw a punch I think of a semi circle I'm wanting to not only hit you with my arms but to smash through you with all of my body behind it. Of course not every punch is thrown full force but used to create pressure so you can hit them with the perfect punch or kick. Just practice some basic combos at first step by step checking form over speed and power and overtime bringing it in. Eventually add in manuevering around the bag and keeping jab range and the second step add in moving back and fourth between being in range and moving out between jabs and being able to jab while you move backwards. Those basic exercises will help immensely, helps you learn you're range.
