Can you make a video of a JIC fitting being unscrewed under 2900 psi ? I was just hit in the face with a 1/2 inch jic 90 last night the fitting was removed under full 2900 working pressure from our HPU.
Is there a standard that will tell what is the maximum pressure drop allowed while doing a leak test on the hose? thanks in advance.

Can you get a new handle seals? Ive been looking through parts manual, looks like you have to get the whole handle "housing" and replace as per 1:28!

You put the bearing housing back the same way ! So the grooves for lubrication are now on the high pressure side So this is rong way You have to change bearing housing side.

Use Gates Multi-spiral hose and fittings and you won't have to do this. No skive and less contamination.

+domvark Hi Domvark, thank you for commenting! In this case it could be argued either way, if it's tightened sensibly then it will be secure and the can won't be damaged. It's best practise for it to be tight if this is fitted to mobile equipment, where vibrations could loosen it.
