This Oyster Sauce Chicken is ADDICTIVE!
## Oyster Sauce Chicken Recipe
**Ingredients:**
* **Chicken:**
* 14.11 oz (400g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
* **Marinade:**
* 1 tbsp Shaoxing rice wine
* 1/2 tsp sugar
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1/8 tsp white pepper
* 1 tbsp cornstarch
* 1 tbsp water
* 1 tbsp cooking oil
* **Vegetables:**
* 8.47 oz (240g) onion, sliced
* 3 slices ginger
* 2 cloves garlic, sliced
* Scallions, chopped (separate white and green parts)
* **Sauce:**
* 1.5 tbsp oyster sauce
* 1 tsp dark soy sauce
* 2 tsp honey
* 1/8 tsp white pepper
* 3 tbsp water
* **Finishing:**
* 1 tsp sesame oil
**Instructions:**
1. **Marinate the chicken:** In a bowl, combine the chicken with Shaoxing rice wine, sugar, salt, white pepper, cornstarch mixture, and cooking oil. Mix well and let marinate for 15 minutes.
2. **Prepare the sauce:** In a separate bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, honey, white pepper, and water. Set aside.
3. **Sauté aromatics:** Heat cooking oil in a pan or wok over medium heat. Add ginger slices and the white parts of the scallions. Sauté until fragrant.
4. **Cook the chicken:** Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.
5. **Add vegetables:** Add garlic slices and onions to the pan. Stir-fry until the onions are translucent.
6. **Simmer in sauce:** Pour the prepared oyster sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables. Cover the pan and simmer for 2 minutes.
7. **Finish and serve:** Uncover the pan, increase heat to high, and cook until the sauce thickens. Stir in the green parts of the scallions and drizzle with sesame oil. Serve hot with rice.
