I do stuff.
Zero Wing (PC Engine CD) - 151,670 pts. (w/ commentary)
Port of Zero Wing to the PC Engine CD-ROM system by Naxat Soft. Of course it's got a different storyline and fully-voiced cutscenes like Hellfire S, but it doesn't meet up to its older brother very much, considering those were developed by different companies. Many of the graphics appear to be inferior to the other versions whereas I think the arcade version had the best graphics. I also liked the orchestrated soundtrack but I still think the Genesis version is the best out of all those. Y'know, I also don't know what happened to make me play worse at this game in general than previous times.

Mega Drive/Genesis port of their second side-scrolling shooter game made in-house, and again might just be easier than the arcade game like their other Genesis ports.
Zero Wing (Arcade) - 98,980 pts. (w/ commentary)

My favorite Toaplan shoot 'em up, with conventional colored weapons and a beam that lets you use those enemies as a shield. But words can't describe how rusty I've gotten at this version of the game now.

NOW this feels like an easier game.

Now this difficulty really just feels like the arcade game.

This game doesn't use bombs for a secondary attack method, but it calls in a bunch of more biplanes to help the player in on the game.
Hellfire S (PC Engine CD) - 416,950 pts. (w/ commentary)

This port takes on a different storyline (including a bunch of cutscenes), but it's still pretty much the same game. Also one of the easiest I've played.

NCS's conversion of the Hellfire game, with more powerups for some reason!

Toaplan's one of their only two horizontally-scrolling shmup games, with the satisfaction of being able to change the direction of the shot.
Tatsujin (PC Engine) - 55,490 pts.

I guess these ports really sum up the way they are done.
Truxton (Genesis) - 156,560 pts.
มุมมอง 59 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Yep, this game definitely turns out easier on the Genesis. Can't forget about its own rapid fire feature. But I think the arcade version's music is still better than this one.
Truxton (Arcade) - 62,830 pts. (w/ commentary)

Honestly, the space style of the game made me come to like it. But at least it still plays like your typical Toaplan game.

Now this feels more faithful to the arcade game than that other one.

I misheard it all as PRO FRIENDS 😔👍
It is more fun to alias sidestep and turning on the same respective button, effectively turns Slide into a racing game.
the songs, ripped from Super Star Soldier, while the graphics, resemble to Summer Carnival '92 Recca! I remember playing this homebrew game back in 2018, at my local university, and I had fun scoring to the top 😎
Yeah, I saw many online posts about the game that said it was similar to Recca X)
Cool! Never expected to get back to this game once again, this time, expressing your opinions, and strategies! Man, I want to give it a shot after this review

If you are using the regular freeway shot, make sure you have a rapid fire feature, to strength up the shot firepower. By the way, I played both the PS2 , and Gamecube versions (PSP version is quite different story) while the Gamecube version has more clearer sound effects, better textures, and more visual effects, than the PS2 version, the Gamecube version, lacks button setting menu, and there is no button to reduce speed, only to increase it, while it can reset speed to initial while pressing the R button, it can be a little of a hassle keep pressing it to get the desired speed. The PS2 version on the other hand, has a proper speed down dedicated button, and if you prefer, you can adjust them at you desire. While the PS2 has polished button configuration, the PS2, has missing textures, suffers from some slowdowns (on proper hardware only, this doesn't happen in emulation with hi-gear PC specs) and some of the sound effects, the frequency were compressed, and others, were completely removed. Listen to the opening cutscene of both the Gamecube, and PS2 versions, they have noticable sound effect difference
Really solid shoot'em up! I highly recommend it! The sequel of Soldier Blade, from the Turbografx 16/PC Engine
No idea why you are swearing so much, although it is rather sweet with "shoot, shoot". You are a boss on this game, the best shmup on the PC Engine, with the best music. Respect!
