No robots here...just yet. People either scoff or they pay little to no heed to the robot thing etc but we really should. A deeply automated digitised "internet of things/humans" society is what is being developed. Utter insanity but the average person never seems to be bothered to notice much of anything let alone object to small gradual changes no one asked for and which step by step, year by year will transform everything (for greater convenience and safety) but not for the better. Anyhow.. blessings from Eire.
theyve pushed everyone into economy gigs and now are replacing them one by one
lol the thumbnail <3
Reminds me of when I was a kid and told people I'd read Mouldy Dick (I thought I was hilarious)
my wifi was slow and only this video loaded, i stayed to watch, i don't usually read books but this was interestin. i hope u have a nice day
@@eliasmodeus_ aw this comment made my day thanks for watching!
Hey their you just need to take these times to reflect on what you have been doing and how you feel in those moments. You seem really focused and excited about the books you’ve been reading. Sometimes we just have to take some time away from those things to bring us back to them! 🙌
I really love how realistically you present things
Maybe you just need an editor to help sort through things.
i would love that for sure
that's so beautiful i love it congrats
thank you!

Glad your staying busy at work and back in classes 👍 I go to bed at 9 and get up 7 - 7:30 😂😂

Wow, you are awesome. I absolutely love that song. 🎉
thank you April!
OMG! Loved that song. That was the perfect song and key for you ❤ Very nice 🙌🙌
@@bobbic2119 thank you ❤️
Would you be willing to talk about some of the music you've been listening to? Enjoy your content!
well I admittedly don't listen to much music these days but I love to hear myself talk so I could probably do that. thank you!
have you read salem's lot?
ive never read anything from stephen king!
have know many folks in my life who always had access to a comfortable amount of cash, who lived a lifestyle far beyond mine and beyond anything they could possibly earn themselves. Mostly it was because of their other half who had some innate ability which was in demand and which allowed them to bring in a very comfortable wage and some of those some skill sets are also recession proof. Anyhow, enjoy listening to your vids. Regards.
yea there are circumstances we are not privy to and really its none of my business but i am always curious
How long do you read for a day? I really struggle to manage more than 10-15 minutes a night. Do you have any tips on how to kinda get immersed in reading?
@@TheHulksMistress I seek out books that I think I’ll really like and don’t read things that don’t hook me (for example the one in this vid that I return) what genres of books are you reading/do you like?
@@abbycarvermusic that makes sense. Tbh I don't have a preferred genre yet, I've been reading anything and everything. I've got a few Cormac McCarthy books I want to read next. Do you have music on or anything like that when you read?
@@TheHulksMistress I listen to instrumental music, a lot of post rock and emo stuff and jazz and also ASMR ! Also something I do sometimes is read a few pages and then take a small break maybe watch some TH-cam and then go back to it back and forth for a few hours you get a lot of reading done but it doesn’t feel overwhelming
@@abbycarvermusic oh awesome, I love that idea about a few pages then a quick break. I don't know why that hadn't occured to me lol. And cool, I'll try reading next with some Mogwai on in the background ^^ thanks a lot, those are great tips
@@TheHulksMistress glad to help!
I didn’t know you were writing a novel! That’s so sick! Good luck and looking forward to hearing updates about it.😊
thank you!
I literally love this

you're so beautiful ☹️💗 your voice too!

Did you read The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx?
@@BadAss_691 yes years ago

crazy! was just about to pick up 'perfume' from the library. i am french so hoping this helps hahha. also, david sedaris is fantastic. can't go wrong with anything of his. enjoy!
@@downthedrain19 I’m sure you’ll like perfume!
Do you have a favourite book? I read Moby Dick a couple years back and that was amazing. I'm about to start Game of Thrones but dreading how long they'll take me (I'm a very slow reader)
@@TheHulksMistress I don’t have an all time favorite book really but I have a few favorites when I was younger it was slaughterhouse 5 now I love severance by ling ma and good kings bad kings by Susan nussbaum
@@TheHulksMistress good luck with the books! I have not yet gotten into fantasy I find it challenging for me

ok so this video DEFINITely found me for a reason. cuz yes i agree 100% reading on ur computer goes by sm faster!? and ive been trying to read 1 book a day but it usually takes me 2-3 days this summer, but this video rly inspires me that YES i can do this, i can read 1 book = 1 day, because the book i want to read for today (city of glass) i already know is RLY GOOD- also im so so sorry that the camera wasnt recording the first time ?!!! i know the feeling- when i try to go over everything the second time it doesnt feel as genuine. anyway, take care <3
you can do it! im glad the video found you
girl i had the same mindset about youtube too. i had this subconscious belief that consuming slop on yt was somehow better than consuming slop on any other social media or tv channel. im healing now (i say after watching another youtube video)
haha yes good luck in your healing journey
It's so lovely to see someone who actually reads books! I used to read when I was younger, but nowadays I just don't have the patience to do it. I've tried, but I can't get past a few pages
@@leisiyox I’m like this too! I just have to find something I’m immediately into. A lot of trial and error and returning books I never read.
Loved this library haul! I read Mother Night ages ago and always think about rereading Vonnegut. I feel like I read him too early on to really get the gist of the social critique, but he’s always enjoyable and easy to read! If you’re interested in more short stories, maybe try Raymond Carver or Lydia Davis!
@@nathansnook oh wow I'm a big fan of your channel! thank you for the rec! I've been interested in reading Carver but haven't heard of Lydia Davis so I will check her out
last q what bravo shows do you watch? the whole network is so nostalgic for me.
I’ll watch any of the housewives although I’m only up to date right now on Salt Lake City and I was watching the valley and vpr of course and I’ll watch below deck but it’s not my fav but it’s always on lol and I like southern charm but I only started watching it last season
@@abbycarvermusic haha it was always the housewives for me!
also have you read Bret Easton Ellis' newish book The Shards? I think youd like it :)
@@downthedrain19 I started it like a year and a half ago but it was some weird trial pdf thing but it’s next up on my list! Just waiting for my library to get it in
