Thanks for this, we've lots to be proud of in Barnsley now, lots of regeneration work and a high street that has performed much better than it's counterparts thanks to the great work the local council has done. You didn't cover it but Eldon Street is getting a make-over, returning a lot of it's buildings to their former glory. Regent Street is also a lovely street, lots of history and contains The Courthouse, a building that was a courthouse, then a railway station and now a pub!
