iKamper Annex Room Tent - First Setup and Teardown
มุมมอง 12K3 ปีที่แล้ว
First setup and teardown of the Annex room tent from iKamper. This annex is for the X-Cover Roof Top Tent but I understand it is the same for the Skycamp. I was really impressed with the size and quality of the materials. The bag it comes with is oversized which makes it easier to pack away after a not so perfect folding job. I can't wait to try it out on our next adventure to the wilderness.

The new gen 2 system drawer would fit to 2019 jeep wrangler jl sport 4 doors?
Hey was this the XL or regular version?
what brand of soft topper is that you installed
what about blurring that Lic plate?
Do you have the link for the magnetic phone holder
Here you go! EveryAmp Phone Mount Dash Anchor... www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJS2QSKX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Curious where you picked up the dining attachment?
yes please, do you have a link for that dining attachment too?
how have those drawers held up? They look to just be pinned and glued, like kitchen drawers....seems suspiciously flimsy for something in a vehicle being jostled around constantly
Thanks for your question! I used the system for several long trips and the quality was consistent and it was durable. I’ve since sold the truck with the entire set up for the Rivian. Thanks.
I had some high anxiety after you saying it was your first time on the Onewheel and then you're riding it along the dock and the seawall, lol. I'll have to check out Pedego next time I'm down there.
We didn't know any better at the time. lol
Why is the Gladiator drawers the same price as the fullsize 6.5' drawers?
Are you able to fit suitcases in there if you take the boxes out?
I'm going to say no. The height is just not there. Most of the stuffed backpacks and carry-on luggage I've tried didn't fit. Decked makes a durable backpack that fits perfectly.
How long does that propane usually last ?
I wish it was taller
Does anyone know an easy way to make it taller?
Hey. What brand of tire carrier you have? Do you recommend it?
Rig'd Supply - Ultraswing. I highly recommend it. They make 3 sizes and I have the largest. I think the medium size would have been the better fit for the gladiator.
Those instructions that came with it sucked. 79 languages, all just as vague, I'm sure. Tried watching an assembly video on TH-cam but, no. Well, I can only screw it up only 2/3 times so....
Man that seems like a total assembly process to get that thing installed. Would be nice if some things came pre installed.
As I write this, my grilling grate is upside down, laying flat over the burner tube. In trying to remove it I'm at a dead end. The metal ledges on all sides prevent removal. That said, this isn't a complaint about this video or the grill itself. Rather, this being the only site I've found where I might make any kind of comment, I just gotta vent. COLEMAN'S CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT SUCKS! I waited on hold for more than an hour to get help on what should be a QUIK FIX. So some rep in a call center blatantly not in the US spends at least 20 minutes getting my contact info. Without a ghost of help starting, the guy next says he's gonna send me two emails while we're talking. My email address was restated and confirmed three times over. But no email arrived, even checking the spam folder. The better part of two hours invested in just getting a %#€£ fix to what should be a #%*¥+ simple problem, I ended the pathetic call. Again, I see nowhere, especially on Coleman's website, to lead a comment/provide feedback. This is the first and only place a comment is being left. In short, to reiterate, COLEMAN'S CUSTOMER SUPPORT DEPARTMENT SUCKS!!!! Don't waste your time like I have. Up to and including me being angry enough to write this ^%< post. Blessings to us all....
How has this held up since. Would you still recommend?
@@benjaminbear138 Thanks for the question. I ended up changing vehicles and could not mount it on a smaller car and sold it. But during the year of use I got, it performed flawlessly and would not hesitate to buy it again!
I bought one of these on July 3rd for the holiday-worst grill I've ever owned in my life. The instructions for assembly are nothing more than ancient Egyptian pictographs so you WILL have to take apart and reassemble several times to get it right. On the 4th, I tried to cook a slab of ribs on the grill and it would not stay lit. Never got hot even on high setting. Ended up cooking in the oven instead. The grill has no thermometer and no gauge to see how much propane is left. Today is the 5th and Mr. Coleman is going to give me my money back. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GRILL! (Or steal one; you'd be wasting your time)
Wish the drawer had slots to install dividers into. If you don't fully pack stuff in there, it'll slide back and forth.
Blew thru assembly. Fail
Sorry for the Tacoma driver. Happens when you go with someone who wants to be paparazzi instead of spotting you. But hey he got some good content for his channel at your expense.
Have the original jp40 single zone. Been running non stop over a year now as an extra fridge, and camping. Hope they make the 52 qt in a dual zone. Also have the go 20. Iceco makes awesome dc fridges
They did! It's the Golden 'Special Edition'. Just picked mine up!
@ccofran86 oh man I'm gonna have to look into it. Does it have app control?
Yes it does. The dual zone label is a bit confusing but it works!
I really liked it. i purchased one a few days ago, surfed the web for hours trying to find a vide to put the dang legs together and after two hours i figured it just by watching and replaying and pausing repeatedly the only 5 unuseful videos i found. the ignite button does not work. I have to use the lighter. nice video thoug... it helps me to assemble the legs
Just ordered mine!
Congrats! Hope you enjoy it! Let us know what you think of it once it arrives.
You don't own any power tools?
Great video man.
Me ha gustado mucho. Tengo un defender 110 es posible montarlo tambien en ese 4x4. Vivo en Barcelona (España) existe algun taller para instalarlo. Gracias.

Thank you much for this video man
How’s the height compared to the mid level position on the tailgate? Curious if you can haul 4x8 sheets of plywood on the decked system and use the tailgate to support the load beyond the decked system.
While I door love a wood look, Dobinson KILLED IT on fit and finish ...just looked at pricing, and Dobinsons is less than half with better fit but no folding sleeper.
How wide is it from wheelwell to wheelwell? I wonder if I could stick this in my Cherokee XJ? I'd just delete the sides and plywood the top. 🤔
I’m planing to go there in the spring. Nice video. Easy badge of honor.😊
Gotta say I like my softopper design much more than that bestop lol.
I hate my bestop too lol
My rear window cracked after a cold snap. Not under warranty.
i totally agree about the soft top. i got rid of mine a year later. the sides stopped staying in and would not stay sealed. complete garbage. i am on the fence about the decked system. i have a hard top for the back now from ARE which is great, but it is a pain to get stuff out of the back.
A camper shell and decked drawer is a great setup. I have to carry a bunch of stuff for work that has to stay dry, and being able to have layers of storage makes things much easier.
My dream setup is a canopy camper with the decked system. Something like the Go Fast Camper. What do you think?
Sorry, I had to stop watching this video the second I saw you wearing Crocs.
Haha. Those are my All Terrain Crocs!
Hey man you can’t hate on the crocs. I’m in steel toes 12 hours a day, the crocs come out as soon as I get off work.
oh shit i'm wearing crocs watching this -- great vid thanks
Can't get any street cred wearing crocs.
I have mixed feelings about this thing, on one hand it is well thought out and is good for keeping things organized, but on the other it seems like it takes up a lot of room and limits hauling bigger items.
I understand. I was ok retiring the title "a friend with a truck", on moving day. haha
Depends on what your needs are. If you need to haul big things, it definitely limits usable bed space. I’m fortunate enough to have 2 trucks, 1 is a Nissan frontier with a hard topper and decked drawers, the other is a dodge 3/4 ton with an open bed. For me both trucks have their place, it just depends on what you need.
What a huge improvement with the one large drawer and side cubbies. I might actually consider this now. Thanks for showing this.
It does seem to maximize the space compared to the last version.
What rear bumper and tc are they for gladiator?
The bumper is the Fab Fours Standard Rear Bumper with Rigid LED lights. The tire carrier is an Ultraswing by RIGd Supply.
I am considering the decked system. I like the fact you covered some of the issues you had. Not to mention the Easter egg I noticed. My only issue so far is the best way to reclaim the bed depth so I am looking are rack systems. BTW what swing-out tire carrier is that?
Thanks! Only time will tell how I miss the bed depth. The tire swing is nice but it requires the tailgate to be fully closed, which limited what I could haul within the bed anyway. The swing-out is the UltraSwing by Rig'd.
Loved the video. You come across as very genuine. That's what's going to grow your channel and why I subscribed. BTW, I have the same tent and a dad of 2. Cheers from Australia...
Thanks for the sub and kind words.
I clean mine at the carwash
Brilliant. I hope not with the brush.
Would've been great if all lstand pieces came in it smh
I want a video of your pool 🏊♀️ place…. Looking to renovate mine
Maybe this summer. :)
Next time run Potts the other direction. While you can technically go either way, the majority of traffic goes the other way and there are barely any pull off spots to let traffic by.
Zoomer Checklist: "Do I risk life and limb using it?" ✅ "And do I get no exercise using it?"✅ "Then I must have it"

People that put those step sides on LOL
Did Potts Mt in my 4inch lift Jeep commander and it finished it.. turned out to be 5k in damages after.. but, she got me home:)
I’ve had mine for two years now I wish they made an accessory for. I can make it a table top. I believe it’s too short the legs are too bulky. For packing and when cleaning very unstable, but other than that, I cooked great.
