Bottle Gourd Kootu recipe 2
This is the last video recorded in 2023. This year I hope to post videos more frequently. Do bear with me if there are repetitions of certain recipes as I am trying to align my videos in two platforms.
This recipe is another version of a bottle gourd kootu. This one is a little more creamy and has a slight bite to it. However, it is just as tasty.
Do give it a shot, everyone.

Sweet leaves with grated coconut
มุมมอง 265วันที่ผ่านมา
This is another video from the year 2023. There were so many that I had not posted as I would have posted a more recent video taken in 2024. This video is aboutt cooking sweet leaves in a simple South Indian stir fry with grated coconut. This is also my favorite method of eating this delicious and nutritious vegetable. Happy cooking everyone.
Prepping for a salad
มุมมอง 34514 วันที่ผ่านมา
Hi everyone, here is another video that I made early last year. Its about making a big batch of salad and keeping it throughout the week. It is so much easier to snack on a premade salad when hungry then to actually make one from scratch. Enjoy the video, everyone.

Hi everyone, this is another old video that I had recorded in the year 2023. I had started this channel in May 2023 and have been posting videos at random. Some recorded in 2023 along with some recorded earlier this year. I hope to post all from 2023 by the beginning of 2025. In this video I share a glimpse of my life living with ADHD which is an abbreviation to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity ...
Malabar spinach stir fry
มุมมอง 373หลายเดือนก่อน
Malabar spinach, also called pasaley keerai in Tamil is a very tasty vegetable. It is traditionally cooked with lentils in Indian homes and made into a thick stew called a ‘kootu’. Today however, I am using this healthy green leafy vegetable to make a simple stir fry with garlic. So simple to make and yet so very tasty.
Traditional South Indian Sambar
มุมมอง 132หลายเดือนก่อน
This is another video that I made very early into my TH-cam journey so you might find me a little less chatty or perhaps a little stiff. I am trying to clear up all the old videos as much as I can, so do bear with me, everyone. In this video I cook a large batch of Sambar in order to freeze in small quantities. This way, we are able to enjoy delicious South Indian Sambar as an accompaniment to ...
Keerai Kadayal with lentils
มุมมอง 96หลายเดือนก่อน
This is another video taken at the very beginning of my TH-cam journey so you might find me sounding a little different. Meaning a little less at ease and perhaps less chatty! This recipe is a traditional South Indian dish which is hearty and wholesome. You could say it is an Indian version of creamed spinach. Do try making it. It is delicious.
Spicy stir fried beans & carrot with tempeh
มุมมอง 312หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a simple dish of stir fried beans and carrot in a classic Malaysian style. It is slightly spicy and very flavouful. The addition of Tempeh to this dish makes it so much more nutricious and gives this dish an added oomph. Tempeh has a slightly salty and nutty flavour and is a very good vegetarian source of protein. Do give this dish a try, and you will not regret it.
Kaara Chutney
มุมมอง 764หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a simple chutney that I love to have with dosas. Its spicy and tangy and the perfect combination to a nice, hot and crispy dosa. Do try making this simple chutney, guys. Its very different from the usual coconut chutney. Happy Cooking.
Homemade Chilli Flakes
มุมมอง 957หลายเดือนก่อน
Hi everyone, for some years now, I have been making my own spice powders. I try as much as possible to make things from scratch whenever I can. The food definitely tastes better and I feel happier as well, knowing that my spice powders are clean and fresh. However, this is not always possible due to time constraint and the effort it takes. Making chilli flakes, on the other hand is quite simple...

It would be good if you could list out the measurements of the ingredients below all your videos.

Its SAD that you give measurements of the baking tin and no written recipe ehich is the most important.
@@anithaps6502 Hi. The recipe is listed in 1.51 onwards.
Yes the cake has come out wonderful and more than the cake the way your face shine and glitter after the bake that truly wonderful. Oh yeh, you should have used butter scotch essence instead of vanilla and little bit of brushing with honey on top after baking must have been a good idea

You don't need to soak the dal if you are pressure cooking it. Two whistles and you're done.
@@annageorge8415 Hi, that is true , however, the reason for soaking is mainly to help reduce the content of lectins and other compounds in dal so that it is more easily digestible.

Fish curry powder name please
@@kamilawahab7742 Hi, at the moment I use store bought fish curry powder. The brand name that I use is ‘Baba’s’. 😊

Please could you tell me the fish masala you use
Madam when you say tablespoon what spoon size are you referring to? Is it normal size eating spoon? I see frm video the tablespoon is quite small. Tq
Hi dear, I was using a normal tablespoon. The kind that we use to eat. However, this depends on how thick you want the curry to be. If you want a thicker curry, do add more curry powder. ❤
