I'm 165 years old. Saw Yes perform this in Cleveland in '79 when I was 137. Still rockin' it on the stereo to this day.

I was 17 in 1977 when I was at Yes's Going For the One tour at Boston Garden. When Jon started plucking that harp, time stood still for me then. And now watching this, I was again frozen in time.

This makes me emotional. Saw Yes do this in the late 70's. Can't help thinking that Chris Squire/Alan White are being lauded daily for being responsible for some of the music that is played in heaven.

While I absolutely love Awaken performed live by YES, this ranks up there with any of the best performances of it that YES ever did. With the orchestra and the choir, it is just so powerful, so moving. It is the penultimate long-form masterpiece of YES at their peak (and yes, I believe it is an even better piece of music than Close to the Edge). There are very few pieces of music that can move me to tears and I have no idea why it did - this is one of them.

This is such a amazing performance it is there in its beautiful splender. This is, in my opinion, the best version of Awaken with this full Ensemble. This is where Jon Anderson lives.Rip to co- writer Chris Squire. Such a memorable experience !!!!

Whenever I’m in need of amazement, spiritual recharge and the incredible lightness of being, this specific performance, watching Jon being amazed, watching band being energized, watching chorus totally engaged, and hearing audience express appreciation, prior to song’s end, it’s always, every time, exhilarating. Just watch Jon. He’s absolutely, like a kid. Amazed. Excited. Excitable. They bring it. And. He reacts. Brings his absolute best.

I need to go split some wood , lift something heavy or change the oil in my truck, YES is so in grained in my soul i fall apart every time. This is crazy , am i supposed to feel this way , do i understand what Jon is saying half the time , no ?? It's so ethereal but it works. If this was "And you and I " I am not sure I'd recover , god dammit i hate it , i love it ! Funny how music can reduce a man to tears in an instant.
