    Thank u so much for these videos. Ive been drawing a 18mths now and using loomis and assaro to help and its always helpful to see this clearly explained as there seem to be many slight variations to it, ehich can be confusing! But its good to see how u can indeed use it as a base, then just take out bits and decide on the landmarks that are useful to u, for quicker face studies.i like the fact u use both, the detailed loomis etc and like this one, a more basic version. I also like the long form video to just watch how it all comes together. Thanks, u have a another subscriber! I was wondering abput drawing exercises, such as the 3or 5 basic shapes, cube, sphere, cone, pyramid and (forgot the other one lol)😅. Do u have any thuts on easy ways to do these shapes? Techniques for doing cubes and spheres etc in various perspectives? Im trying to get a grip on how to set up some exercises in shapes. Just a suggestion for a video if u have time. I think they seem like theyd be useful for drawing, muscle memory and for finding and drawing shapes more 3 dimensionally. Thanks again for your great videos!

    Great video Mike. I enjoy the idea of a no erase challenge and it was fun to watch. I love the constant measure and correct, measure and correct, and I love that you leave it raw and messy so we can see how far it comes when the final piece is revealed. As a fan of art, what fascinates me more than seeing the final piece on the wall, is seeing the process and hearing what the artist is thinking along the way. Thanks for sharing your process!

    What do you think of my sketch? I think it was successful but I also need to improve a few things. Like I say, "Drawing is a Journey of Constant Learning" and part of the process is evaluation your work and identifying those areas you need to improve upon. I think I missed on the overall length of his face. Although I captured a likeness my sketch makes him appear to be years younger. What are your thoughts?

    Hi! Love and enjoy your videos! I had a question,I wanted to print the best reference picture,I see yours are very clear,I have a inkjet printer,what settings do you recommend to put in order to get clear pictures? The colors,in general everything,look very good on your reference pictures that you use.

    • @drawn2mike
      @drawn2mike หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the image size (in pixels) is a decent size, example: the image I used was 1200 x 1200, when you size it to 8.5" x 11" you should get a decent result. I haven't used an inkjet printer in awhile so I can't be sure. I take my files to the local business center and output on a laser printer. It really boils down to the quality and size of your reference. I would say 150dpi could work but you make have to bump up to 300 dpi if your scaling a smaller image. I hope this helps. Let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for watching.
