@@rick1e_pickit was the R7 or the R6, but the R7 was cheaper so I just went with that. It’s an amazing bike

Yeah I could’ve honestly, but I loved having a canon camera back when I first start my TH-cam channel in 2020, but I might get the s5iix sometime in the future. I just wanted to try out the canon r6 to see all the hype around it!

Plus I didn’t know about the s5ii until after I purchased my r6😭😂

@@ZmarRidez I can totally understand that. I cut my teeth on the gh4, then rode with the gh5 for a few years and then got an s5 a year ago and the fact that I can now use this familiar camera system with competent auto focus has me giddy as a kid on Christmas morning lol.

@@tcmedialab I get that feeling lol with my r6, I was so giddy when the auto focus was so good, it brought back the joy of making videos since I can count on the auto focus again. The s5 was bad, but canons dual pixel auto focus is my favorite as of right now!

@@ZmarRidez I’ve never had autofocus since I’ve run with Panasonic from the beginning. I used to tell people I didn’t mind cuz it forced me to be a better videographer but deep down inside I just wanna go shoot a wedding and not be forced to build a whole rig with a big monitor and focus wheels and still run across the occasional shot in post that’s slightly out of focus 😂 I also wanna be able to throw just the camera on a smaller lighter gimbal and just go without worry instead of altering my rig to go on my crane 3s. My back is very appreciative of this new autofocus development.

i would say based on others i got a defective unit, for 800 it's not worth it. my new unit was better, but takes several minutes to get my phone connected to the radio.

Thank you! And yes I run high flow cats! I did did my exhaust leak fixed a few days earlier so idk if they did anything to the sensor or not

@@ZmarRidez I have headers/high flow cats and P0420/P0430 codes are a regular occurrence. I need to get the spark plug non foulers so I can possibly fix it. I've just been too busy doing cams to want to bother. If your cat is clogged you'll have performance issues. If it isn't, you won't. However, it can occasionally cause misfire codes if you don't clear the code regularly.

@@noahhuraan5353 yeah, when I went to upload my pictures I kept my usb stick in. If your having issues contact Dynavin about it since they’ll know their product more than me

I only did the media cable. idk what the phone cable goes to but it works like normal. I think it goes to the usb outlet to have a wired connection.

Hey! What’s up with your CarPlay? Does it not work with some songs? My new unit is a pain in the ass to connect. I get Bluetooth and wifi to connect but it won’t load apple carplay until I turn on and off the wifi and Bluetooth several times. It takes like 5 minutes to connect

@@ZmarRidez yes, a few songs cause CarPlay to crash and I gotta reclick bluetooth and immediately skip the song or else it’ll crash again, every other aspect of the radio has been great though, I am currently updating the device since there is an update on the website that says it helps with CarPlay connectivity as we speak

@@Christophero I say try to update your unit, the old unit did that to me and my new one doesn’t. Maybe it could just be a software issue. Did you preorder yours in may or June?

I am, once I get back from vacation. Had to take the whole unit out and put the old one back in. The stock unit works just fine. Also I know I need to contact them lmao, I was planning on it

Thank you! I'm thinking about bringing it in to get the radio looked at by a mechanic. I believe it's a wiring issue. so far I have it working for now. But its still turning on and off by itself. But the whole unit works right now which is good. also I noticed when I was working on it, it would stop working when I rest it up before snapping it in. I might call Dynavin and request a new unit tbh. I'm glad I went over some of the good parts. I thought my review was dull. Thank you!! i'll make a future post/update about it later this year

Update: I’ve contacted Dynavin and they sent me a warranty replacement. It’s arriving soon so my next video will be on that! I’m so excited!

@@winkawak new unit fully works! Only issue now is it’s a pain in the ass to connect apple CarPlay to my phone. My first unit was good, but this unit takes up to 5 minutes to connect. I might need an update tho

@@ZmarRidez Thats good man, hopefully it goes smooth from here. Im too afraid to drop 800+ for all the potential problems i see with on youtube/comments. Ill stick with my factory non navigation system for now, had it for 10 years dont mind for another couple years lol

Id say it’s pretty smooth for an aftermarket system. does have a bit of lag, but not enough for me to complain. And I haven’t tried watching a video yet. I will be posting a new review video soon
