Central to Town Hall on the Light Rail
The trip from Central Station to Town Hall Station in Sydney, on a sunny day. This view is off to the left side. Not as good as a full forward view, but easier to catch (if you can find a window seat).

Cloud Trails and the Peekaboo Moon
มุมมอง 332 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
The moon rises early in this Star Trails mode video, and most of the stars are invisible due to clouds drifting across the sky. The clouds cross the moon (rising early in the video) and cause it to appear as a blinking object in the sky. Soundtrack: Mix It Up - RalphReal

Planes and Stars

This Star Trails video was started hoping to catch meteorites plunging to their destruction. It did catch one tiny flicker of an end, but hardly anything that might be expected from a major meteor shower like the Geminids. Circuit City on a Saturday Night

Circuit City on a Saturday Night (and Sunday Morning) shows the view from the street below my apartment through to the tiny, frenetic lightning cloud that appears on the horizon above Waterloo in the early parts of the video. This video was recorded using the Vehicle Lights mode of a GoPro 11, with 5 seconds between shots and a short trail length. The beginning and end light of dusk and dawn ne...

You picked a great day for it. 😀 See you tomorrow.
Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Sub and 👍1
Very nice 😊
Come on, keep it going!!😁
Nice 😊
0:18 What a rain cloud.
good!
I love watching the flight tests live, but seeing the ⚡ storm just before the engine relight was truly special. 🤩
Awesome Andrew, I wish the cycle tracks were as smooth in the NT, sadly they planted shallow rooted trees which erupt through foot paths and cycle tracks and are never attended to by councils. Even dangerous for foot traffic. I could visualise me doing your ride.
Yes, that was a particularly nice group of cycleways. 😄 But if you like the cycle tracks in Sydney, you should plan to ride the ones in Canberra! It's certainly on my bucket list.
The views are simply beautiful❤
That was a rather quick trip.
Fantastic time-lapse video. The light test went very well.

Well, that music really makes it sound like you are on a mission!! 😃
I was on a mission! I got down to Bunnings, found the stuff and rode home all within 30 minutes!
@@DrewTubeish I gotta get me one of those bikes one day. I can see myself riding around terrorizing the neighbourhood ! 😁
Wonderful video and music ! Superb creation
I'm lucky to have access to many free tracks to use as soundtracks to the videos. :)
I like it! It would be great if you had a 360 deg view and the camera could spin around too.
😂
Very nice ! 👌🏻

Very nice mate.
Thanks! Honestly, the best part of this video is the soundtrack IMO. The haze made the stars very dim, and there was no interesting cloud action during the night. It's always a gamble when doing time lapses. Things you hope might happen, don't, and things you hope don't happen (like drenching rain putting the camera at risk) do! Having said that, I'm glad you liked it. 😁
@@DrewTubeish Well, I agree the soundtrack is great but I liked it al, good job. No, don't risk the camera in the rain mate!
I'm looking fiorward to getting some decent black sjy shots with the Hero. My phone couldn't cut it.
That was a good example of what the GoPro9 can achieve in night mode. It should be noted that the view from Sydney is full of light pollution and, being on the coast, atmospheric humidity for the escaping light to illuminate. The vid even includes some faint clouds. Also, the prominent moon would have made it more difficult for the camera to balance the light levels. What the camera can do with the minimal light and less-than-ideal conditions makes me want to get inland to the dryer areas towards Australia's desert regions. The view of the southern skies should be /awesome/ from there. But I'll keep catching all-sky night vids from here on occasion. It is /so/ easy to start the camera running, then go to bed. Fun to see in the morning what it captured.
@@DrewTubeish I hadn't factored in city light polution. Our skies are fabulous when the moon is not so bright. Looks like I have some more fun to come soon.
Thank you. One of my favourite skies!
Thank you! 😄 I should do more at that super-fast speed, and start before dawn to catch the sunrise as well.
@@DrewTubeish what city is in your foreground? I will have sea in my foreground for a few days. I'm looking forward to capturing some great 'cloudage'.
@@CloudsatKathys Most of my videos are captured in Sydney, facing east from Redfern (where I live) to view Bondi Junction on the skyline. I also have some time-lapses from the beaches and National Parks around Sydney, my sis' place in Canberra and other scenic locations. Yeah, seaside can be great fun. I've been trying to get a good video of tides, but it needs to be a slow rate of photos to show the effect. Great cloud action, usually, but I think you'd have to pick one or the other as the focus. A tricky choice, since I love clouds so much!
@@DrewTubeish I'll pick clouds. You're in a different hemisphere to me here in France. Butwe share the same sky (eventually) lol
amazing!
That's a great video. I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.

Thanks! It ran longer, but the camera was on the wrong mode and the vid faded to white soon after. Still, happy I got that 15 seconds worth. :) Doing an all-sky vid at 5 sec per shot, at the moment.
