Thanks for stopping by. My wrist size is ~6.5in (16.5cm) and ~6cm wide FYI.
The channel gives me the opportunity to purchase (affordable) watches, provide thoughts from a newbie’s perspective as a chance to share with those in a similar mindset.

My self imposed rules on watches for my collection:
A) not exceed 5 watches; sell if it happens
B) solar quartz where possible
C) if automatic, choose high power reserve where possible
D) purchase new watches only
E) includes some sort of discount
F) variety of types and brands
My goals for this channel are:
1) Learn and share with others my collecting journey and everything in between.
2) Reach key TH-cam milestones to monetise the channel to allow me to (slowly) build up to ‘grail’ watches and continue the cycle.

Great unboxing video but change the background music😅
No backlight demonstration in the dark, you seriously couldn't turn the light off? What a lazy guy, thumb down. Instead we get annoying music at least.
Thanks for the feedback. I recorded during the day so the lights were off. I did test out the light in the full video also without any music if you’d like to see. Cheers
I have the same one but I have a white led bulb instead of the electro-luminescent back light.
Eco drive utiliza a luz solar ou artificial para carregar o maquinário dele, isso gera energia em uma bateria auxiliar. Sobre os segundos estarem desregulados, é porque a bateria está fraca, isso é uma aviso. Relógio top. Lembrando; uma vez que a bateria esteja totalmente carregada, o relógio pode ficar aproximadamente 6 meses com carga. Um relógio fenomenal. Um automático solar de respeito.

Personally bought the solar powered version of casio G-Shock DW 5600 watch... Utterly disappointed with brand Casio G-Shock! Just after 3 or 4 months of normal usage ( No swimming, No Diving, No Extreme water Sports, No Surfing) it developed fog and water vapour inside the glass disrupting the time view. I went to the Casio Service centre but the service center people bluntly told me that there was no option for replacement. They also shamelessly told me that their watches are water resistant and not water proof. They said they never claim that their watches are water proof in their advertising also. They simply changed some parts and dried the fog or water vapour inside AND after a few months the fog and water vapour inside the glass RETURNED. What a Waste. 👎 Had it been the case of putting the watch under extreme conditions , it is understandable, but the refusal to replace the watch under normal conditions seemed callous and unprofessional on part of Casio. Utterly disappointed by such a big brand LIKE CASIO AND G-SHOCK with big & HOLLOW claims! 😒 Big advertising and low quality.

Just got this model for myself a week ago. An easy daily wear!
A158w watch displays digits more clearly than the dw5600 tough solar. I'm unsure of the reason behind this disparity. Could there be a problem with my watch?
No your dw 5600 solar will also display clearly when tilted at an angle, the variation in straight face visibility is due to the solar panel there's nothing to worry about

Yes. I have faced it yet is is original . I talked to Casio india customer care they said it’s a genuine watch.

I have a wirst size of 7.3 inches , will it look good on me ? or too small ?
Thanks. I have a 6.5” wrist for reference. I found online it says the watches wrist length is 220mm/~8.6 inches. So it’ll fit by that measurement. May be worth trying on for yourself to whether it’ll look good and aligns with your own watch size preferences. Cheers
