Video of Pete's racing and racing interests, awesome in-car camera videos that let you know what it's like to race and why I love doing it, and some travel videos of places I like being. Also, my favorites list includes my favorite movie clips and music videos.
Our 2010 Atlantic City Indoor Race Attempt
This video highlights some scenes that I wanted to share from our January, 2010 racing attempt at the Gambler's Classic Indoor Car Race at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ. There is one hell of a story behind this effort, and I'm proud of what my team accomplished and endured. Perhaps this footage may hold some entertainment value for the general public? Have a look, ask me some questions, and get to a race!

Block Island Run 2009
มุมมอง 9915 ปีที่แล้ว
I vacationed on Block Island (just off the coasts of Long Island and Rhode Island), and I enjoyed it so much I decided to post it for all of you to see. It may not be the most well-organized video, but it does contain many images that will always be burned into my memory. It was a great trip to a wonderful island, and hopefully after watching this video, you'll see what I mean.

Pete's Indianapolis Trip 2009
มุมมอง 39615 ปีที่แล้ว
Turn your volume up for this one. I finally decided to make a run out to Indianapolis for the Memorial Day Weekend, and it was awesome! My heart is with the USAC Champ Cars, but The Brickyard was special. I hope you enjoy the video!
Halloween 2008 Trip

I decided to post my video footage from my latest trip. It seems like an appropriate video (especially the second half) for this time of year. I hope you like it!
Fun While It Lasted!
มุมมอง 2K16 ปีที่แล้ว
This video contains footage of our latest racing adventure at the 2008 Atlantic City Gambler's Classic. A lot of effort was put into preparing this car for this race by my awesome crew, so it was a heartbreaker to have it end like it did, so shortly after it began. It's ok, that's racing, we'll be back next year! Thanks for watching.

I had just quit my job, so the day after, I drove to Cape Cod to do some fishing for a day and a half. It was everything I thought it would be, and then some.

ISMA Supernationals at Oswego Speedway
มุมมอง 8K17 ปีที่แล้ว
Supermodifieds are very fast, but when you put wings on them, they become the fastest short track pavement cars on Earth. This video captures some sights and sounds during the ISMA supermodified race portion of Oswego Speedway's International Classic Weekend in 2007.

The only footage of myself doing may favorite thing: Racing! I spent a lot of time explaining my thoughts at the time in this video. I hope it portrays me as a win-capable driver, which is all I wanted to be.

Oswego Speedway, Home of the Supermodifieds!

Oswego Speedway, Home of the Supermodifieds!
Back in 1959, 1960 &'61, we watched the races at Fonda every Saturday night . Those were the days of Steve Danish, Pete Corey, Lou LaZarro, Billy Wimble and others. They used to have a drag strip there also, but that was shut down sometime in the late 60s if I remember right. Is the dirt track still running today? I live way down south now, but it would be fun to come up north to visit old friends and family and go to the races.
Just saw the Fonda schedule. They will be racing in 2023.
RIP Moody Mile 1903- Jan 9th 2016. 2nd oldest racing facility in US History only to the Milwaukee Mile. Corrupt politicians claiming "progress" tore down the most important race venue to local dirt racers in the entire northeastern US. totally shameful and if you don't like it. DONT VOTE for Cuomo or Joanne Mahoney if you live in onondaga county.
THERE ALL FUCKING CORRUPT.
0:29 joe hawksby is my teacher lol he doesnt race anymore but he still builds aot of cars.
@petie151 Hey I just moved to Syracuse. Is the Elbridge track a good track to watch the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars? I was also wondering if you have been down to Wiliams Grove to watch the World Of Outlaw Sprint cars?
By the way, the food at that truck stop is GREAT
Superb work for a hand camera in the spectator seats ! Tom Loughlin JR Utica OD motorsports writer 1970's.. and Lou Lazzaro's ex insurance agent.
@Questore2 quality isn't that bad...
@petie151 What car do you drive at atlantic city I will probably be there this year

Sweet video, man. Thanks for posting it.

Outstanding video, I love the supers and when they put those wings on, they are lighting fast. I was at the Port City 150 two weeks ago and what a great show they put on, the Mods were also entertaining. Thanks for sharing a great video.
Don't worry it hasn't i was there May 23 and all of them were ready to go lots of Supers there for the wing event and every mod driver was there
Love this Video Have some posted myself from May 23ed 09 race
Nice Video tho good footage from the dirt race was probley the best race of the weekend
Man u live in Syracuse NY and u went all the way out there to see that , Oswego is like 30 mins away and is way better then INDY i came down from Canada To see the Winged Supers , and ROC modifieds and it was awesome thoes cars and that track always live up to there repuation I've been to Nascar races and Oswego makes my hair stand up just walking up to the track
A friend of mine Keith Kauffman raced there, He finished 2nd behind Sammy Swindell in a wold of outlaw race there back in the 80s.
Fairground Open Wheel dirt racing is as American as it gets . Love It !!!!
I heard we are suppose to be getting good weather this weekend... i havent been to fonda yet but i want to go. The track looks like its about the same size as middletown.
Neat little setup they have in there, like a miniature version of Indy. Keep diggin'!
You think 900HP is alot. Try 1500HP monster trucks tearing up the track lol I love sprint and EDM racing though
ah come on i love modifieds, theyre the best. whether, whelen mod tour, sst, tvms, roc, come on you got guys like pistol pete, or kirk alexander, the leaty's, stefanik, christopher, on and on and on.
awsome video pete. can't wait til 09 season kicks off, and hope the economy hasn't hurt the teams too much. talk soon bud :-)
Great Video, i have not been to Oswego speedway in 11 years as i have lived out west (big mistake). Just moved back to upstate NY and looking forward to going to the races again. Thanks for sharing. KJ
lol, we race cuse and we dont have 2 cars or 5-6 motors, its expensive but not as bad as you would think.
its 1/10 mile but its fun
sweet stuff oswego looks ok but still like chmunge
i live in syracuse this i never been to a syracuse mile race tho i want to so bad
i live in oswego i saw the classic today! congrats doug and joe
RIP Car #77... I am suprised the driver wasn't hurt in that crash. The thing is buckled damn near to the foot box.
why may i ask is it the worst place, or was that just some sarcasim?
where's Doug Hevron?!!
where's Warren Coniam?!!
Great video Richie Tobias Jr was my favorite driver growing up. Does any one know where i can find out where he is racing this year?
i love when they push the cars out. the direct drive is pretty cool and they throw the switch for the ignition and they fire to life and you hear that chevy big block. i love this vid no doubt about it. i like the part too when you were asked what you were filming by some guy off camera haha. either way good stuff
I THOUGHT this place CLOSED lol turns out their was 2 tracks in OSWEGO tigoa motorsports park was the track that i thought was this 1
hey, pete, its me again, was the dirt track new egypt speedway? And i know wallspeedway closed a week and a half ago unfortunately, now i have to find racing now that wall speedway, one of my favorite places in the world is gone, and i wanted to know if u knew of any PAVED tracks left in pennsylvania or maybe conneticut, or new york, now that there are none in NJ. Please sned me a message, Thank You!
great racing i love the modifieds too,i live in a town next to wall township speedway, and i can hear the modifieds from my house if i am not there watching them!!!!
anyone know when the the next race at Syracuse is?
Mods rule..wanna see a good Mod show In NY, go to Williamson..good racing there, have the Leaty's so is well worth the trip, and as well..bring in own beer. Something Oswego should reconsider.
this is what made me move here...hehehehehe...great isn't it!!!
ted chirstpher is the most dirty modifed driver i kno
I SINCERELY hope the track survives another 50 years, but I have my doubts. For a median effort and lots of luck regarding crashes and engine problems, it takes about $5000 to race a Supermodified on a typical Saturday night. For the limited exposure and even more limited marketing value, it's truly a rich mans HOBBY. But....If I won the Mega Millions next week, I'd be putting together a team and car(s) the following week for sure! dk
