whats funny is that sylphie probably didn't abandon oldeus, she has stated that she intends to fight for Ariel's throne a few times even if Rudeus does not, and she dies in that war. in the main timeline aftr that she decides to fully commit to Rudeus as a housewife.
This is a materpiece, Mushoku is a masterpiece.
I REALLY want them to do Oldeus timeline first, giving anime onlys a heart attack before going back in time and ending the season with Vs Orsted. If they try to handle all the baggage Turning Point 4 brings AND the Kingdom Arc, it'll be too bloated and rushed. Usually they did 6 Novels a season, but I would be completely satisfied with 3 Novels covered if they go the expanded Oldeus route. Turning Point 4 is TOO GOOD for them to rush it.

I was so sure of myself that after the end of the season 2 of mushoko tensei, I would leave this anime rotten in the ground. I didn't like rudeus trying to have a second wife, not because of the concept of polygamy, but because I feel like he betrayed Sylphie trust. Since the beginning of the story, I feel like she was always saying that Rudeus was better than her in every way and that she wasn't good enough for him. And I was feeling disgust when Sylphie simply accept Roxy in her life without getting mad at all when she was pregnant of his child. And I hate rudeus for letting Paul die for such a stupid an avoidable reason.But after this video, with was the song say it's going to happens in the show, I feel like I might make a huge mistake by letting the anime go. I really hope the anime is going to get better in season 3.
Up to you. Volumes 14-15, which will be covered next season, are probably the most famous LN volumes ever written but they are very raw (but there is some comedy, surprisingly). I'm not sure how committed Bind is to adapting them with the faithfulness and effort they deserve. 16-17 are also action-packed and filled with court intrigue and are some of the most popular as well. By the way, Paul did not die from Rudy's mistake. It won't be discussed to probably next season but Rudeus is like LaPlace -he does not have the capacity for touki or magic armour, which allows swordsmen to move fast and defend against attacks. That's why he built the suit you see in the AMV. The hydra had sensed the threat and thrashed its headless necks too fast for Rudy to follow with his magic eye. Literally nothing he could do. This is NOT a redemption story. It is about living life "good and hard" or like a "drowning man." Roxy should have been his first wife without the interference of another. You'll find out next season. In any case, he would rather be a scumbag than make one of the women he loves unhappy. He could have done the safe thing and ended it with Roxy - no one would have held it against him given the circumstances - but that would have gone against his very goal in living this second life.
