Looking forward to getting your drone back in the air!

I'm ready for theirs. It's great that we can get these flying again. I personally believe that GoPro should have stuck with drones a little longer and tried advancements instead of bowing out so quickly.

@texasdroneman I agree on GP should make them again .. The drones are getting dropped off this weekend... Do you perform .. recommend any mods... I seen a video where an owner replaced the internal drone antenna with copper wire...

Look at the most recent test flight video I posted. They had an extended antenna. May be worth looking at that brand. I wouldn't just go in the controller adding copper wire.

Everything I'm using I made from the items in my Amazon Affiliate links in the description. If you are semi decent at soldering, you should be able to make everything.

There is a way. Are you tech savvy? It does take a little soldering but can be done.

@@texasdroneman no, infact iv hardly flown it a couple of times, almost in mint condition

Honestly, the soldering is a little more intricate when you have the sd card setup. It's easier in my opinion not having it.

What all are you looking for? Where to solder and to touch the probe?

to be honest all of it, where to soldier, how to make all the connections and how to put together all the parts to make the sd harness etc. thanks

@@ervmister I will see what I can do. I will work at least a video that shows soldering it to the drone and where the probe goes. The parts listed in the description are items you will need.

They work just fine.

This was done with my Karma Drone.

For what it is, I like it. Yeah, it's not fancy, and flight time is nothing like my Mavic 3E, but it was cool you could swap out up to GoPro 7. I think had they stuck with it and weathered the storm it could have been something, not DJI, but still could have been something people would have bought. The ability to swap the camera made it cool.

Honestly, I think it's a good little drone. No, you aren't going to get obstacle avoidance sensors nor are you going to get long flight times with the battery that it comes with but it is fun to fly IMO. Do not attempt to update the drone though. Also if you have issues with the drone there is someone in France that can fix them.

@@texasdroneman lol I haven't no work has been busy and I've built a pond soon this rain here in the UK finally stops will get it out been flying it on the sim nearly every day.

I'm building a GoPro collection. And I bought myself a GoPro karma drone that doesn't work. The ad said it wouldn't turn on. But it did turn on. But there was no pairing with the remote. And I found out about the problem. I found a craftsman in my city. He has already restored two of these drones. Now he's working on restoring mine. It's not working yet. But there's a chance to revive it. In the meantime, the master's advice is to turn this drone on at least once a week. Just let it run for a couple minutes. If you leave it off for too long, it builds up an error. And it can lose contact with the remote.

There is a company/guy in France that fixes these drones. From what i gather they bought up all the repair equipment from GoPro. You can email them directly at contact@valorconseilcalvados.com . Once you email them they will get you setup with the process to get it repaired.
