Hi mate, get better soon. Cant wait for more footage. Hope to see you on another KLR but the 390 is also a good little bite.
Love more vids like that
With all that still water, how m7ch of a problem are mosquitoes and midges etc?
Sorry for the late reply been away, Mozzies are there mainly after a wet period but not to bad most of the dry time, Midgees are not as bad except up the back lagoon which is a real muddy area overall spray or long sleeves work as well. its very popular so I think that speaks as to how bad they are. I go there regularly for wildlife Pics and dont have any issues
I would also love to know about Pete's windscreen and instrument relocation for the CRF.
Going out again with him this weekend mate I will ask him for you. Thanks for the support
Nice! I was in Cairns for three weeks last year but didn't get to ride there. Good to see some of the back country.
Message me if you are coming back up here I can give you all the places no problem. They should be all open by then, we had a lot of damage with the floods and cyclone this year Happy to take you out
man this looks really fun! can't wait to buy my first bike!
Cheers mate , always fun just can’t wait for all the tracks to finally open again good luck getting your bike

Thanks mate, very informative... I dont know what youre using to film with, however, GoPro Hydrophobic Lens thats on 10/11/12 models is quite helpful in rainy conditions... Cheers
Thankyou for the comment and advice on the lens , , I had the old go pro 9 out and was thinking of updating soon so now I have a good reason Cheers appreciate the feedback
@@paulsparkes2477 all good, budget deal would be 10, as 11/12 are not that much advanced
Cheers appreciate the advice @@BranRistic

Power to all the people of FNQ!✊❤
Good to hear you're all safe. All the best with everything mate!
Thankyou appreciate it
Hey Paul, I got out on Saturday morning. I'm very saddened by the whole thing. Yorkeys was my home for two years. Wonderful people and great memories. Yorkeys is still a very special spot. Glad to see you're ok.
Love to ride the XT250 out there and setup my portable Ham Radio station, plenty of trees to throw up a antenna line. Most of the trails were good for your road bike, but I bet you wish you would have taken your XT250. Also seem most now days suet up in a bunch of gear like they were in a motocross race, to hot for me I would rather just wear jeans and tee shirt much cooler. Fun watching your ride, Thank you for bringing us along.
Cheers appreciate the comment and yes you are right, I was wishing I had a smaller bike for that track, actually a few tracks I just enjoy the bush and riding through it, I am definitely not a motocross or enduro rider Ham radio sounds interesting , if you are ever in FNQ look me up I can show you the tracks Sorry for the late reply I had no reception as we were waiting for cyclone jasper to pass Thanks again
@@paulsparkes2477 Thank you for the invite, I would enjoy riding those trails with you it would be so much fun. I like your videos, I can watch with my grand kids. Most others have a lot of nasty words and, well you know . Hope all is well take care.
Zigging when you should have zagged is never the best. 😁
Cheers mate , you got that right
Excellent video, I enjoyed following along on four wheels but looking forward to joining you on two at some point 🙂
Absolutely brilliant Sparky! Found myself laughing a fair bit at the comments on my riding 😅. Jeez, love the sound of my cruiser ❤
Awesome Sparks THANKYOU.
Awesome video!
How’s the bike running now? We drowned quite a few DRZ400’s on the way to Cape York, it was a bit of a process to get the water out though. Good to meet another ex-army adventure ride 😎
Going great , three oil changes later but have clocked up another 5000k on it and no dramas so far touch wood
Thanks for the awesome video.
Always a pleasure and thanks for supporting it
Now looking to purchase a head to toe swimsuit ! You should not have mentioned dropping it ! 😂😂 put the bad energy on yourself before you got there…… 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Mankinni for the KLR too perhaps 🤔😜
Great video 👍 looks like an Awesome place to explore.
Thanks 👍
