Porsche Carrera Cup 2024 - Sydney, Australia
I visited the Porsche Carrera Cup 2024 round in Sydney, July 2024. The sound from the Porsche GT3 Cup Cars was awesome, and it was great to wander through the pits and get up and close with the cars.

Daikoku Parking Area - RWB Porsche in Japan
มุมมอง 1274 หลายเดือนก่อน
I visit the Daikoku Parking Area in Tokyo, Japan to track down a Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) Porsche 911. Daikoku Parking Area in Yokohama is known for having the best Japanese car scene in the world. But can I find some 911's hiding amongst them? I take a look at one of Akira Nakai's creations and how you can rent and drive it in Tokyo!
Early 911S Brake Caliper Restoration
มุมมอง 1745 หลายเดือนก่อน
Two different types of Early #porsche911 S brake calipers came into the workshop at the same time, and so I decided to do a side by side and restoration video. Using a sandblaster, wet and dry sandpaper and some clear coat caliper paint, I refinished and resealed the 1969 S calipers. These classic Porsche 911 and 3.0L 930 Turbo calipers are a beautiful product from ATE, and need to be restored ...

    Hi, Wanted your advice: I have a stock 1967 911 thats been restored to a not so great level. However, everything works. Wanted your advice on what all i should upgrade? I had thought brakes mounts and bushings would a nice easy upgrade along with sway bars and new shocks back and front... anythign else i could easily do that would have a good impact on performance? Also, do you think its worth it getting easy S calipers instead of the originals? would it make an appreciable difference? The car isnt driven very hard. and lastly, if i were to rebuild the original calipers etc, any place I could get a kit to do so? Thanks so much, i really appreciate your advice

    Pretty stupid of you to go speeding in areas blocked by a line of parked cars where you can't see if some kid is going to run out from nowhere chasing a ball or something. If you hit and kill someone, they'll put you in prison for about 15 years.

      Needs more open roads to hear the turbos pull. I feel like this is more of a GT car for going really really fast since it's not N/A and gets its true power from the boost.

    I am not certain that is a real Ruf. Do you know if it has a Ruf vin#?I believe it should.The car is a beast regardless of whoever buys it there's no doubt that every time they drive it they will be smiling.

    • @SavagePorsche911
      @SavagePorsche911 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would guess it's not a real RUF car because RUF didn't swap engines across chassis's i don't believe (i.e. this is a 993 turbo engine in a G series car). Perhaps the engine was originally out of a RUF car though.

    That's a cool build for sure. Not just the engine, but the other attention to detail in the interior and as you pointed out the effort to dissipate heat. It's a wonder that these air cooled engines were ever able to run, but run well they do indeed.

    • @SavagePorsche911
      @SavagePorsche911 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks! Yes a lot of attention to detail. Almost every interior surface has been reupholstered - quilting, leather, red stitching, branding. A lot of work.
