I’m kinda lost, you have ling tong’s 4th weapon in DW5 but you didn’t know Zhang Liao reappears at least 4 times? The only way you can get it is by defeating him until the weapon shows up.

Not trying to rain on your parade but you didnt actually beat him in dw3 because you killed him before he ambushed sun quan so he wasnt at full power 😂

In Dynasty Warriors 3, Zhang Liao is at his strongest when he does the ambush Sun Quan. For some reason, he has no buff at the middle of the map until he dissappear and reappear at the bottom. To make this scene to happen, have Tashi ambush by Zhang Liao cutscence, follow Sun Quan to the bridge to cause jump scene, wait till a Zhang Liao shows up in cutscence. Good luck

bro playing normal DW6 when he should be playing DW6 Special edition which Ling Tong has a 3 section staff

I say it never play dw9 in English also cheese dw9 lvls and get 100 in like 30 mins just go to upper left corner of the map and kill bandit leaders with bows… and get the xp booster items easy

On the ps2 version of dw6 Ling tong had the 3 sectioned staff(basically the Chinese version of nunchucks except with a 3rd section.) . I think it was called dw6 special for the other consoles (or maybe just in Japan). Very annoying how the best version of the game was basically only playable on the console that couldn't really handle it.

No wounder you had to cut some parts, since music for this game is done by T.M.Revolution so it doesnt really belong to Capcom. THats the issue of having some artists to sing for you instead of doing in-game music. But hey cool video, a lot of fun. I wish it was translated to english (like all games) so I would give them a go actually. I do prefer Samurai Warriors in a way because its more realistic (if you can call Musou games realistic lol), this is like Samurai Warriors on Steroids, but I like it lol. Because beside gameplay I would like to understand whats going on and what items I get, etc. But some characters have a better looks and such in Basara, and some in Warriors. But hey I do like that Magoichi (if ya know what I mean hah). Was fun through!

DW2-5: Peons are trying to kill you. They will not tolerate the disrespect of being ignored. Player KO counts are "low", but satisfying. DW6-8: Peons stand there waiting to die. KO counts are high, but meaningless. DW)9: A 1,000 hit combo isn't special and doesn't do even half of an officer's health. Leaving the PS2 has been a disaster for the DW series.

I think Zhang Liao reappears 4 times on the DW5 version of the map. Or at least he does on the remake of the DW5 version in DW7
