Melton Machine & Control Company is located in Washington MO. We design and build automated equipment to join parts in a manufacturing environment. WE integrate 200+ robots per year and most are MIg welding stainless steel parts together. We make equipment using our design or your design. We can build tooling and fixtures for your parts, we can provide a full assembly line or single process systems. We can deploy systems worldwide and have 72 engineers in-house and 20 robot technicians trained in multiple platforms.

Melton Machine MiR Conveyor Interface

Conveyor interface unloads a MiR and moves the pallet to a conveyor. It will also work in reverse, take a pallet from a conveyor and load onto a MiR.

Solution for customers that need to use a cobot to pack plastic bottles into a shipper and put a tare sheet between layers. This also uses the cobot to move the filled container onto an exit conveyor.

Melton Machine & Control Company presents a success story where we helped a manufacturer test an assembly for leaks, check the torque and do a precision non-contact gauge measurement using Perceptron, then laser mark the parts with encoded test results. Due to non-disclosure agreements we can't show the final manufactured part, but you will see the complexity and the relatively fast throughput.

Too much flex on the cobot and the tool is not keeping its rpms. Nice idea but not optimal yet .
